Tails walked from the deck to his room and shut the solid steel door. they are still in space at the moment. Tails has cried for days since the ''incident.''

Tails moved over to the window, watching remaining debris slowly move past. Frustrated, Tails slammed himself onto the bed a let out a fit. He calmed down and felt a cold pain in his chest. grabbing a pillow, he wrapped himself around it, hugging it.

''Oh Cosmo, did i do the right thing?'' he sobbed into his pillow, "Why did i do it? I shouldn't have done it!" Tails wailed, Tails pushed up against the steel wall, hiding in the corner of his bed, and slowly fell asleep, feeling the warm tears soak into his fur.

Tails' dream

Opening his eyes, to find himself laying face up on his back, looking up into a black void,

Tails felt with his hands a solid surface below him.

Curious, he sat up, he was in a square room with white walls and a dark gray floor. Tails slowly looked around and suddenly froze. On the other side of the room, stood Cosmo.

He stared at her in a long and shocked trance.

The painful memories of Cosmo, and of the remains of the planet flashed by his mind, bringing tears and powerful emotions into his heart.

Finally, the tears fell into his lap, aroused him from his horrid flashback, and stood, feeling the weight that seemed to pull at his knees.

Step, by step, Tails moved closer, cautious of what might be another taunting dream, he faintly said her name, barely a whisper, "Cosmo~?"

Cosmo, with a slight smile, said back in a greeting tone, "Tails, I missed you."

Eyes opening wide, gave way to a stumble into an embrace, "Cosmo! I missed you too! Please don't leave again!" Tails cried into her shoulder.

"I'm sorry..." Cosmo said, rubbing Tails' back, felling the silky fur that covers his back. Tails, slowly calmed down, and started to stammer "w-why are you sorry? Please Tell me your not going! Please!" Tails said Tightening the embrace, feeling that this may be the last time he may remember her the way she is.

Cosmo broke the embrace, and stepped back, looking away, "I cant, not yet, you must listen to me," she said, almost in a rush. "I need you to do something..."

Tails moved closer, feeling once again pain grasp his heart "Say it! ill do anything for you!"

"Its very important for my survival,'' she said seriously,''I don't know how long i can stay here, but you need to find me! Ah!" Cosmo Grabbed her side, showing her green skin darken. "Please hurry, i think i can make it! No!"

Cosmo vanished and the room went dark.

''C-Cosmo?'' Tails sputtered.

END OF DREAM

"COSMO!" Tails nearly jumped out of bed.

Tails was covered in cold sweat, and tears. Tails threw himself into the shower and dried off

''I got to get sonic and the others!''he said to himself.

*KNOCK, KNOCK* he heard on the door.

''Tails its me Sonic, you alright in there?'' a voice asked worriedly.

''No, its Cosmo! She must still be out there!" he told him

"I'm sorry Tails but theres nothing we can find."

''Well its different this time, i saw her,an-and she's hurt!'' he yelled through the iron door.

''What do you mean?'' Sonic asked again, a bit more concerned for his friend.

''She said something about helping her quickly, but i have no idea where or what happened...'' he said

Tails walked to the door and the door flew open upwards, making Sonic, whom was leaning against the door, fall on the floor. Tails stepped over Sonic and ran down the hall. Tails immediately got to the deck and told every one what he saw in his dream.

''Are you sure that dream was real?'' Amy asked

''Of course its real! Cosmo's there i just know it!'' Tails said getting frustrated.

Tails headed to Cream's post and tapped a button and multiple dots lit up. then he typed 'Lifeforms' into the command slot. All but one dot vanished on screen. Tails got up and took a look out side, at a large piece of wood and rock drifting past the ship.

''Get the tools, we need to get Cosmo back.''
