Subject: First day as a Grey Warden

Well, after arriving at the Warden base there was so many questions and answers i wanted to know and give but there wasn't any time to spare. Once i had been introduced to the King of this fair kingdom i was already being given my orders and asked to go and seek out a fellow warden known as Alistair.

Exploring the camp was a little harder than i anticipated. As i passed the bridge which connected to the camp itself i was first introduced to what the circle called the spirit mages. They were the ones who could connect to the fade, spirits that lived in the magical world. I was told to leave them be as if someone was to disturb them it would bring the fade and the person within a little crazy, or worse.

Making my way more into the camp there was so many different people. Elves, humans and more. Being here within the camps boundaries make me think of home and how i just left my parents. How could i just leave them like that? I shook the thought from my head as i met a few other Grey Wardens while poking around. One of them gave me a location of this Alistair fellow and so i was grateful for his assistance.

As i managed to find the spot i could hear two voices. Judging by how one of them talked he was a mage and it was apparent when i got more close to the two of them. As for the other fellow, he was of slim build, blonde and if i do say so myself quite handsome. This must have been the Alistair she was looking for.

His sarcastic tone made me smile as we both introduced but what shocked me the most was his question about me being a female warden. Did they ever have females within their ranks? My question was answered as he told me about the last female warden they had.

As soon as we were acquainted we set off back towards where Duncan was waiting for us back in the center of the camp. I had a feeling there was more to this than i thought.
