Alrighty, Nobody got excited for my next story? "Tt," as Damian would say. You illogical humanity for the lack of knowledge when something "good" is before you. xD Alright it needs some work. :P I know. Well I need you guys to get excited about it. Yes this is a prologue. Please read it and I hope you not only enjoy, but want to read the whole story. Once again, Thanks, you're what makes me do this.
Prologue
Every breath made his lungs burn from the inside out. His heart was on fire as it bumped in his chest. Tried and weak Damian knew that he couldn't make it alive. Run, he thought. Run to live. His legs were wobbly and he shakily exhaled and his breathe turned into white mist. His feet were numb, his bare feet crushing soft snow beneath them. Footsteps followed him. He was confused. Something wasn't right. Damian started up the icy hill. Dogs barks and sound of guns were getting closer. He used his hands and took another burning breath. Please, I don't understand, he thought to himself. Damian felt something wet and warm go down his check and he stopped. He touched it with his finger and examined it. What? What is going on? Emotion, emotion is weakness, he told himself. Emotion is weak-tears trickled down his checks as he looked up in the sky with watery eyes. He gasped, trying to regain his breath as he cried.
He made a full dash to the top of the hill as he kept gasping. They were gaining on him. He knew it. He finally tripped on a large root and fell face forward and used his hands to break his fall. He immediately sat up on his knees and put his hands on his lap. He finally lost it. Damian screamed and flipped his head to the sky and grieved. The footsteps were very close and dogs could be seen.
He looked his left and he saw the gun the women was holding, and stared at her. The gun went off with a blast and then immediately the sound of metal on metal. The bullet dived into Damian's body and he crumpled and spasmed as the bullet made contact with him.
"NO!" A man stopped dead in his tracks and looked at the Damian's body. He dropped down on his knees and picked up the boy. "No…"he whispered. He looked at the killer. He knew he was too late.
"It was necessary." She walked away with the guards and the man's head dropped on the boy's body.
"Please….If only I didn't…I'm sorry Damian, all my fault." He hugged the boy once more before the darkness was upon them.
Okay….Do you want the rest of the story? I was reading this and I really don't know if it is good or bad.
