... Little dumb one-shot based on what Marry says in her CM... about a show about everyone knitting together.

By the way, only TWO DAYS left until HACHI-GATSU JUU-GO-NICHI!

"Come on, Seto! Fasterrrr!"

"Marry! I can't find the stitch I lost"

Seto tried to search through his rows of stocking stitch for a loop of forest-green wool.

Seto thought back to the day before.

...

"I'm back!" Marry carried a bag of a mysterious colorful balls.

Of course, Seto had no idea what they were for, but they reminded him of scarves and quilts he had seen.

"Guess what I have! Wool!"

Marry bounced excitedly around poor Seto. Seto began to feel sick.

"You didn't take that right off of a sheep you found, did you, Marry?"

Kido walked in behind Seto.

"No, Seto. We took her to the yarn store."

"I'm going to teach all of you to knit!" Marry held up a sphere of pink yarn.

...

Shintaro threw his knitting needles across the room.

"This is dumb, Marry. Who needs to knit, anyway?"

Tears welled up in Marry's eyes.

"You jerk!" Takane slapped Shintaro. "Just try this for her!"

Her own chartreuse wool trailed out in a long bundle of closely knit stitches.

She was knitting a sweater for Konoha, just like the one Haruka wore in school.

"Don't stare, Master. I'm feminine enough to knit!"

Takane proceeded to wrap Shintaro's black wool around his eyes.

"Oh, right. Just like you're a delicate flower. Jeez, Ene."

...

Momo sat in a beanbag chair, even less visible than Kido at her worst.

She was in a lump of bright pink wool.

"I made this to hide in when I don't want to be followed!"

Kano laughed at Momo's poor attempt.

"Kisaragi-chan! They'll stare more at a biiiiiiiiig piinkkk BLOB, no offence!"

Stopping the fast work of desperate plastic needles, Momo plucked the metal ones Shintaro threw out of her masterpiece.

...

Marry slowly wrapped more yarn around her needles.

Ayano attempted to mimic her, but her red yarn slipped out of her grasp.

Poor Ayano couldn't get the hang of knitting as well as the others.

In the end, her knit gloves (to match her scarf) ended up looking like Momo's "hiding sack" more than anything else.

So she hid in it.

Out of shame.

Kano laughed.

...

Kano was knitting gray blindfolds for everyone, so they could: "Literally, be the Blindfold-Gang, huh?"

Kido groaned. Her single legwarmer (for the leg with the pants rolled up) was surprisingly skilled for her level of frustration at it.

Her stitches were tighter than anyone elses'.

Just as she almost laid it down, a blindfold came over her eyes.

"Idiot."

...

Marry had finished her project.

She had knit circles around the rest of the Mekakushi-dan.

She had finished a hat.

But it wasn't JUST a hat.

This white thing came down with little white snakes, trailing down the sides of her head.
