I read a FIC a few years back, and having just remembered it I really want to find it, as I believe it was left unfinished, and may be finished now. I can't remember a title or the author, however I know it must have been uploaded during or before 2013.
It was a Harry Potter Marauders era FIC, a non-magic AU, and I remember Remus, James, Sirius, Lily, Molly Weasley, Arthur Weasley and Dumbledore being characters.
It was quite dark, possibly an M and revolved around the characters being part of anexperiment, to make them superhuman, I think there were 12/13 in total, and I, sure they were called by number.
it started with Remus visiting Sirius in hospital, with Dumbledore, after sirius' mutation had sort of flared up and let them all break free? Remus was said to have loud music on in earphones but could still hear everything.
i remember who has which mutation, or power vaguely, but I know James potter had a Midas touch, one hand had been turned to gold and he always wore a glove, Remus must have been a werewolf or something of that nature, Molly Weasley had been made into a psychic, and Arthur Weasley was able to detect lies. Sirius was number 12/13, he was the last one, but had the most power and I think it had something to do with a dragon? Like he was really really powerful. I can't remember what Lily had but she seemed to be really sad.. There were more characters and the number 7 rings a bell but I don't know why. I remember Dumbledore took them all into his care but that's the last thing I recall, and there was an emotional scene in which Molly was being told to predict things and Arthur was there in case she got it wrong, which would make her get punished, she was number 2/3. I think her brothers were in it too but they may have died?
