Kagome was just about to ask Inuyasha if the group could just rest for a while, when a certain dreaded priestess walked onto the path.
"Inuyasha when are you gonna ditch that impudent wench, and come back to a woman that would help you in battle, not just drag you down". Kikyo insulted, and wrapped her arms around Inuyashas neck, when she got up on her toes to kiss him, he pushed her away and pulled Kagome into a tight embrace,
"my woman does not drag me down one bit, Bitch, my woman is m ore important to me than you ever were," Kagome was shocked at his words, but soon realized he was just using her to make Kikyo jealous, he had never shown affection towards her. but still she decided to savor this moment and play along, she wrapped her arms around his strong shoulders, and kissed Him.
She heard Kikyo hiss in air, and reluctantly broke the kiss, dazed. Inuyasha looked dazed. "you can leave now whore, unless you'd like to see some more," she kissed him again, and heard Sango and Miroku laugh as Kikyo stormed off.
Kagome sighed , knowing she had to stop kissing his beautiful lips now, she tried to pull away, he held her took her a moment that they were kissing, not staged like a minute ago, but real, she closed her eyes and melted into the kiss.
"MmmmHmm" Miroku cleared his thought, an Inuyasha let her go, stiffly as if he didn't want to, and was...was he blushing, kagome wondered.
"well..." Miroku tried to say something, probably about the kiss, but Sango slapped him, that shut him up. They continued on in silence.
LATER THAT NIGHT.
Later that night, they they came upon a small fishing village. "Can we stay Inuyasha?" Kagome begged, "can we, can we, can we."
Inuyasha sighed, but instead of fighting, he surprised everybody by saying, "sure, why not."
"Yaaaayyy, thank you Yash," without thinking she thr3ew herself in his arms, he caught her easily and embraced her.. Whenever she realized what she was doing, she looked up, he used that moment of confusing to kiss her, for the third time today. When they finally broke apart, he spoke.
"does this mean you really are my girl?" he asked, "not to make Kikyo jealous, but for real?" his eyes were full of hope.
Kagome felt her heart expand inside her chest, She nodded and was about to kiss him again, but then she remembered, Miroku and Sango.
"They left already" He answered her unasked question, "we better get going, they have hot springs," he wiggled hi eyebrows.
THAT NIGHT
Kagome was sitting in the hot springs, Sango already long gone, when she heard a noise, she quickly loaded her bow and aimed at the noise.
Inujyasha stepped from the brush and slowly made his way to her. she gulped he was completely...Naked.
When he got to her, he pulled her into his arms, nuzzling her neck, and whispered, "I love you, I know you think I still Love Kikyo, but I dont, I have loved you for so long, I'm sorry it took so long to say it, But I love you Kagome."
"I love you too, yash"
that night they made love.
THE NEXT MORNING
Kagome woke sore in unmentionable place, with her Yash's mark on her neck, then the memories of last night washed over her, and she smiled, and nuzzled deeper into her mates arms.
