How innocent it started
the practice, my friends.
But as all wonderful things,
The fun started to bend
Joy turned bitter,
my friendship broke and broken was I
My great friendship was broken,
What I saw must be a lie
We did terrible things
We trampled hopes and dreams.
I tried to make it stop
But selfish was our team
Separate ways we went
I was determined to fix it
Bring back those dreams
Like a flame being lit
A memento of a long lost friend
A shadow to another light
A new life, a new team
A new sun, a new night
We fought so hard
So tired but we fought
I tried to fix it all
I did my part
The Generation of Miracles
How each had changed and turned
I taught them a lesson,
I hope they learned...
I succeeded
That one last game
A friend returned
And this time, it will remain.
