Harry Potter

Deep Dark Secrets

Harry placed his foot on the floor, and then the other one followed slowly after it. Harry's bare feet feeling the instant breeze that swept over the floors surface. He switched on the lamp and gently took his glasses in his hands. Placing them on his nose, he took a deep breath and looked around.

He had a nightmare. A horrifying nightmare that made Harry shiver all over with goose bumps. He finished looking around and got up. Walking towards the rooms exit, he heard a tap on the window. He spun around on his feet, his heart racing. Relieved that it was only Hedwig he opened the window to let her in. He could feel the freezing icy breeze rush past his face.

He closed the window after Hedwig had flown in and landed gracefully on her perch. Harry smiled and spoke softly "Well, now that your back, I won't be completely alone for the holidays." Harry stared out the window watching the snow fall down. Leaving the ground to look like it had been coated with sparkles. He had once heard someone say "Its angel dust, once a year, at this exact season, god takes life away, and makes it reborn into something different and beautiful in the spring time".

Harry sighed he missed her, the one that always connected everything she said to god and angels. Her very words softly spoken from her mouth were like a song or a beautiful poem. He remembered her short layered hair, the beautiful golden colour it was, with a dash of brown roots trying to fight off the fake colour. Her eyes changed colour naturally everyday. Mainly the three colours were brown, green, and hazel. Her compared to Harry in height was like Harry standing next to Haggrid. Georgia was her name, a name that melted on Harry's tongue he tried to taste it every time he said it.
