Deadly memories

The sun was shining; it was a beautiful day, the perfect day for something to go dreadfully wrong.

Beep! Beep!

Donna's alarm started to beep constantly…

"Argh! I have got to get a radio alarm clock… That is just so damn annoying!" Donna murmured to herself.

She slumped out of bed and wandered downstairs. You could have easily mistaken her for a zombie. Her eyes were almost bloodshot and her hair was like a witch's broomstick.

Donna was bored… she had been bored for a few days now.

It was weird, when that man came…what was his name? Mr. Smith! That's it. Well once he had come it seemed like there had been a huge gaping hole between the time she went to sleep and the time she woke up. In her own clothes!

'Eww! I was in my own clothes' she thought to herself.

She didn't have any get up and go. She was unemployed, again. Had nothing to do. Her life was just falling to pieces.

She hardly had enough energy to make a slice of toast!

Donna pulled through this hard challenge though and half an hour later was sitting on the sofa watching 'This morning'.

The door opened. It was Donna's mum.

"Only me love! Tesco's was a nightmare! I'll tell you! There was this one bloke. I was standing behind him in the cereal aisle and he would not move! It was obvious I was right behind him, I mean…" She babbled on. Donna had switched off… She just couldn't be bothered to listen. "Donna! Listen to me! If you're not going to get off your backside and contribute to society then at least listen to your own mother!!"

"Oh, Sorry mum, I'm just tired…" Donna mumbled,

"Yes, well, maybe it's time you got a job!!" Her mum said,

'O what the hell, I might as well! Ooh that rhymes! I'm a poet and I didn't even know it! Oops! Concentrate, Donna!' She thought to herself.

"OKAY!! I WILL GET A JOB!!" Donna yelled.

"Good, now go on then! Get some nice clothes on and make yourself look presentable. I thought you were a tramp at my first sight of you!"

'You cheeky cow!' She thought to herself. Then she made her way up her stairs.
