Hey guys! I'm starting a project I'm calling A Year of One shots. One of my resolutions was to do more writing, and to aid in this I came up with the idea to write 1-2 one shots every week of the year, and change the fandom every month, so that is basically what this is. Each month will have a specific ship/broship or just a general fandom that all the one shots will be about, and I will write 5-8 one shots a month.

This month will be one shots having to do with the charming family. If you want, you guys can also leave me prompts for one shot ideas, or even ideas for what fandoms to do for later months.

Sorry this first one is a bit short, the others will be longer i promise :)

Emma Swan had just pulled up into the parking space in front of her parents apartment complex in her little yellow bug. After taking some time to get her things together, she stepped out into the cold, snowy, January air.

It had snowed the night before, so there was a thick layer of fresh snow on the ground. As she made her way to the door to the complex, she felt something cold and wet hit the back of her head, and heard a quiet giggle. She quickly turned around to see her attacker, only to spot the quiver of a bush nearby.

Suspiciously Emma turned around again, reaching for the door, only to feel another icy cold ball hit her this time in her back. She reacted quicker this time, and was able to catch a glimpse of her assailant. She saw the short, brown, messy hair she knew was her son. Smiling at his little joke, she noticed this he was behind a different bush than the one she had seen before.

Bewildered, she formed a ball of her own and threw it into the first bush. Almost immediately, one was returned by a black glove and dark jacket sleeve. David. Of course her father would be in on her sons prank.

"Haha guys, very funny," she said as she reached down to form two more snowballs. Standing back up, she fired them both into the bushes where the boys were hiding. They then returned fire, uncovering themselves from their hiding places. The small joke had turned into a full out snowball war.

The battle lasted for a little over an hour. Covered in snow and shivering, all three decided to surrender, and they retreated inside to the warm apartment for blankets and some hot cocoa, with cinnamon of course.
