"Hey Ness!" Popo and Nana exclaimed as they were dashing from the mountains surrounding Onett, dashing towards Ness and his humble home as it was getting close to night. Ness was happy to see the Ice Climbers again since they were all good friends, but as they were going to find out soon enough, it wasn't the only reason the PSI power boy was in a good mood.
"Hey guys! Long time, huh. What's up?" Ness responded as he waved, a smile on his face as he placed away the baseball bat he had in his hands.
"It's been a while since we were together. You want to hang out again?" Popo asked as he twirled his wooden mallet around.
Ness smiled as he shook his head, moving his arms about. "I would, but... I kind of want to be with my mom. She has this stink that I'm attracted to..."
"What...? How can you be attracted to stink...?" Nana gawked in confusion as she tilted her head to the right.
Before any of the three kid Smashers could say anything, the area shook from a loud bassy fart unleashed by Ness' mom, who laughed it off as she was stinking up her kitchen like no one's business.
"Phew! That one is going to stink up the place!" Ness' mother laughed as she fanned the air, playfully sticking her tongue out as she was enjoying her flatulent outbursts, having been doing it all day since she took a joy in being farty.
"Ness... is your mom always like that?" Popo asked as he could feel his parka clothing getting tight from having felt the fart blast.
Ness laughed as he nodded, noticing Popo and Nana feeling awkward as he wrapped his arms around the back of his head. "Uh huh! Isn't it so funny?"
"Yeah... sure, it's funny all right..." Nana trailed off as another loud fart from Ness' mama that sounded like a trombone violently shook the area, causing various enemies to scurry away in the process.
