1) Happens All The Time (Cold)
Roy sighed.
Seriously…every time…every godforsaken time!
Edward Elric seriously had too much pride. The young alchemist always hated to admit that he was wrong. Ed's excessive pride annoyed the Colonel.
"Admit it, Fullmetal."
Edward shook his head.
"Never, Colonel Bastard!"
Roy sighed again. He was getting a terrible headache.
"Fullmetal!"
"And inflate that already over inflated ego of yours? Never!"
"Edward!"
The younger alchemist sighed, admitting defeat when the Colonel used his given name.
"Fine! I love you…bastard…" muttered Ed. Roy smirked.
"I love you too, Edward."
2) This Is War (Smile Empty Soul)
He never shot a gun in the five years he served in the military. Now, here he was, his life on the line, gun in hand. If someone would have told him this would happen, Roy would have stayed a civilian.
Now, here he was, fighting for another worthless cause.
Shots rang all around him. Roy wanted to cover his ears, but he could not. Blood was everywhere. His comrades were dying. That day, Roy made a promise.
I'll stop this needless fighting…for them…
3) Taking Over Me (Evanescence)
Ed laid on his back, looking up at the ceiling. He couldn't stop thinking about him. Everytime Ed closed his eyes, he was in his dreams. Ed rolled over onto his right side, looking out the window at the clear night sky.
He'll never know, thought Edward, closing his eyes.
4) My Sweet Shadow (In Flames)
"Big Brother!" shouted Al as he watched Ed fall to the ground, a sword through his abdomen. The suit of armor began to run toward the blonde, but was jerked back by someone.
"Armstrong! Guard Alphonse!"
Roy ran past Al, toward an injured Ed. He heard gunshots and watched the enemy fall to the ground. Roy collapsed to his knees and held up Ed's head in his lap.
"Colonel?" breathed Ed. Without another word, Ed breathed his last breath.
