This is a Dramione one-shot. Or drabble. Whatever you want to consider it. It's set after the war.

Disclaimer: This world and its characters belong to JK Rowling. I don't have a beta, so this is not edited as well as it could be.

"You're not telling me everything. I can tell."

"Mione, you need to understand that right now there are things that you can't know. It's for your own sake. Trust me this once, please,"

"Draco, it isn't that I don't trust you. I'm just, I'm worried. I'm worried about you because most people will not have wanted you to have gotten off so easy."

Draco sighed, "I'm not off as easy as everyone thinks."

"What? This is what you're hiding from me, isn't it? I need to know."

"I did get a sentence. I'm being sent to Azkaban for six months. They've even admitted that it's only to appease the public."

Hermione stared at him. "No," she whispered, "They can't do this. You cannot go there. There must be a way to stop this,"

"Hermione, you shouldn't get involved in this," he paused, "and don't you think I deserve this in a way?"

"Draco don't you dare say that." She walked over to him and leaned her head down on his chest. He wrapped his arms around her. Ever since the war his embrace was the only thing that could make her feel safe. "That place isn't good. It isn't a normal prison, you know that. Who knows what will happen to you there and what you'll be like when you get out?"

Draco ran his fingers through her hair. "I'm not going to change. I'm still going to love you with every inch of my being."

"How can you say that? Azkaban does things to you. Remember how Sirius was when he escaped?"

"Sirius managed to continue on. I'll only be gone for six months. Everything is going to be okay."

"How will I manage with you gone for six months and knowing what an awful place you're in during that time?"

"You'll be alright and who knows, maybe I'll get time off for good behavior."

Hermione's mouth turned up in a sad smile, "I doubt it. You are a Slytherin after all."
