CHAOS DISRUPTION:
TRANSIT "THE SERVERS ARE THE 7 CHAOS. CHAOS IS POWER, POWER ENRICHED BY THE HEART. THE CONTROLLER IS THE ONE WHO UNIFIES THE CHAOS."This phrase has been used twice to call upon the power of the Master Emerald. Some think of it as a mere incantation, a way to channel the powers of the M.E. to do one's bidding, but there is more to it than this. Each part has a meaning. "THE SERVERS ARE THE 7 CHAOS." Refers to the 7 chaos emeralds, "CHAOS IS POWER," means that the chaos emeralds are a source of power, and "POWER ENRICHED BY THE HEART." explains that this power is amplified by the emotions of the holder. These meanings are clear, but the last part seems to avoid explanation…until now.
Our story begins in a quiet, serene, peaceful setting; at least, for now. Tikal and Chaos 0 are reclining on the steps of the M.E. Shrine. While she slept, Tikal had a vision. The entire world was in turmoil, destruction was everywhere, and cause of this destruction had nearly claimed victory; one figure stood in his way, though, and this being had all seven Chaos Emeralds. When this being tried to use them, however, they would not join together. They would not become unified. The cause of destruction took that moment to deal a deathblow to the one who had the Emeralds. The Destroyer had won, evil had claimed victory, and there was nobody left who could stop him.
Tikal woke up to the sound of Chaos's voice. She had been screaming in her sleep. She told him of her vision. They decided that, to avoid this end, the Chaos Emeralds had to remain able to unify indefinitely. The meaning of the final section of the Chaos Incantation had now become clear. There must be one who is able to unify the Chaos Emeralds, or their powers would become individual and they would not be able to join together for any cause. The Chaos Emeralds would also develop individual powers. Although very useful, these powers would conflict with each other and not allow the Emeralds to combine their strengths. There was but one suitable controller on Mobius, unfortunately, he was far too young to take on the role he was destined for. Another must take his place; one who resembles yet does not; one who is older, wiser, stronger, faster, and more wary of his destiny than the original. They went to work to build a better future.
Tails yawned. It was another beautiful morning in the Mystic Ruins where he made his home. He decided, since he didn't have any projects that he was working on at the time, he would go for a stroll in the jungle. He went over to the mine cart and climbed in. While the mine cart rolled through the tunnel, he thought he saw a glint of light coming from the side of the cave wall. He pulled the brakes on the cart and got out. He went over to inspect the source of the light. When he saw what it was, he was stunned. The Yellow Chaos Emerald was stuck in the wall of the cave. When he tried to pull it out, the wall started to rumble. He immediately stopped pulling. He would need to find a way to remove the Emerald without causing a collapse. He determined, unfortunately, that a cave-in would be unavoidable if the Emerald was removed. Tails calculated that the Emerald was located roughly halfway through the cave. He then decided that he would make a run for it in the direction of his workshop once he pulled the Chaos Emerald out.
