Author's Note:
Just a little drabble of a moment between Remus and Harry.
::::::::::: Stubborn :::::::::::
"I understand the feeling, Harry."
The boy said nothing.
Remus sighed. "You might think we are so off in age, that I must have no clue what you're going through."
Silence.
"I once was your age, as unbelievable as that might sound." Remus waited for a response and got none. He continued. "I had my friends and yet I felt so lonely during those nights. They were there for me, offering me support but I still felt as lonely. It took me a while to figure out my problem resided within me; I've been focusing my thoughts on the negative -I know cliché- that I just did not see the whole picture."
Remus wondered if he was getting through Harry at all. "We share the same experience on the matter. Ron and Hermione will always be there, offering you their support. It might not appear to you that they're there, but they are. You just have to see past the veil you placed over yourself."
Harry glanced over his shoulder, his eyes falling on the haggard man.
There was nothing wrong. Remus was right. There was nothing separating them.
Well, except the age thing and life experience.
He smiled.
