Amos Diggory see's Cedric his only child lying their dead and Harry Potter crying.
Amos ran toward his son and says while his tears running down his face "My boy is dead"
Amos cries onto his son Cedric's dead body and whispers "Why my boy and not me. My boy died so soon. Why? Why." Amos faintly hears Harry Potter saying "Voldermort killed Cedric and Cedric asked me to bring his body home."
Amos Diggory see's his only son being buried, Amos has no wife and no other child.
Amos cries and decided their is no reason to even be alive, But he had heard Harry Potter saying Voldermort is back and killed cedric. Amos says inbetween his tears "Damn you voldermort you have killed my only son Cedric." Amos Diggory feels so numb and cold.
Amos Diggory has changed and after Cedric his son was buried.
Amos Diggory made a vow to kill Voldermort for what he has done and yet Amos slit one of his wrists to make him feel alive. Amos now a lifeless shell of what he was and longs to Kill Voldermort.
