Bags all packed, make sure you remember everything
No looking back, no more; not for anything.
Mitchie looks at her suitcases on the bed, before looking a round the apartment that her and Shane had shared as husband and wife for two years. Mitchie looks at one of there wedding pictures, she can still feel the love from that day in her heart but the divorce papers that she had found on the bed two weeks ago let's her know that Shane doesn't feel it anymore. Mitchie doesn't know what she did.

Clear it out just like you've never been,
Mitchie had thought that being married was what Shane had wanted but as she clears the last few things out of the apartment, she doesn't know if they had move to fast, or if her not wanting kids for a few more years had been the demise of their relationship. At last the apartment looks like she had never been there.
What's a goodbye good for, anyway?
Mitchie lays down her last letter to Shane with the divorce papers that she had signed, and walks out the door. She had wanted to tell him good-bye but it would have just hurt her.

Shane reads the letter, The last line kills him.

The shape of something I can't touch
Mitchie walks into her new apartment and sees the pictures of her and Shane from the time they had dated to their wedding day and it all too much for her.
The shape of something she can't touch is killing her, why did Shane do this to her?
I'm trying hard to forget you
Mitchie has tried to forget about Shane, but five dates later and nothing. Mitchie turns on her TV the AMAs are on. Tess comes on and says "Here is Shane Grey singing his new song Shadow." by the end Mitchie is crying and Shane is too. "Mitchie, I love you I'm sorry."
