The Card
I'm silently standing in the hall near the doorway as I watch you picking up the card I just left on your desk.
As the sun enlightening the sky you illuminate my world every time we meet.
Your lips produce the sweetest sound, like sirens, luring me to the ocean-
The ocean that is in your eyes, drowning me every time they lock on mine.
A heart can only speak for itself, so I can only tell you what mine says. It tells me I need more. More of you, more of us.
My heart is open. Open for you, open for us.
The choice is yours, but there is only one last thing I need to ask you.
When I walk by and you see me, do you feel it too?
As you finish reading the card you look up, straight into my eyes.
"Yes," you say as you walk over to where I'm standing. "I do," you add before placing a soft, sweet kiss on my cheek.
