Hey, this is my first story, I hope its good! If you've read something this, then you probably did because I posted this again as the original was short and really bad. R&R!

It was raining outside. Pouring in fact, making the asphalt road White and Kaitlyn were standing on slippery. The cold, rainy, dark, October day seemed to match White's mood. He looked down into the blackness. The blackness in which he hadn't been to in 5 years. So much had happened in those 5 years, so much tragedy, so much change.

"So is that were Judith and John from?" White's friend Katlyn said. "Those Creepy looking people are from a hole in the ground?"

"Well, sorta." White mumbled.

"Why do you have to go down there? There's nothing in it for you! No contract, no deal! And you don't have a family to do it for."

"You don't need a family to have personal business." White sighed.

"This isn't like you! You have been like this ever since we took over that secret government base, and we discovered the underlanders. What are they to you anyway?"

"To me, the Underland is a sanctuary, with some of my happiest memories and closest friends." White replied, a year slipping into his eye, before being wiped away.

"I need you White! Don't leave! WE need you! Think about the rest of us!" Kaitlyn cried moving a lock out of her brown hair out of her eyes.

"Bye," White said, raising his right arm and gripping Katlyn's forearm almost in a handshake, his sleeve slipping down revealing a complicated, spiraling, dragon tattoo that the two shared, before White pulled it back up. It was always awkward saying goodbye to Katlyn, as she never new White as well as she though she did and could not understand why he had to leave. After a long time pondering what could of come from his adventures when he was younger, he stepped into the tunnel, the tunnel that would lead to Luxa, and so many others.

Using his echolocation, he navigated his way through the tunnels, not knowing which way to go. After a while, he founded the fast river that gave the Regalian Palace it's spring water. White walked up the river, while staying in the shallow part due to how dangerous this river could be. wading through the river, he heard cows mooing in the distance. It seemed that the drought that New York City had a month ago was still going down here. Up ahead, Gregor saw two figures, what looked like a rat and a woman arguing. "...should use death fiber. That would eliminate her immediately!" The woman whispered, though loudly.

"NO! That would make it obvious that the queen was poisoned! The queen has to be killed in battle or die of an illness for it to work!". The rat looked up. All of the sudden, there was a large amount of stomping and laughing could Be heard. "Why didn't you warn me of the approaching killers! I'm completely without smell, half blind and mostly deaf and I could hear them before you!" The rat said before slashing off in the other direction. The woman, after momentarily contemplating what the rat said , and, nodding, walked through the door into the palace.
