Disclaimer: I do not in anyway own anything affiliated with General Hospital. If I did, it would be called the Spinelli Show with much laughter much higher ratings. That would be a sweet show, man.

For Me, Anyway

---

Lulu impatiently paced in front of the door of Kelly's Diner. She glanced at her watch and sighed exasperatedly again. She was waiting for her new boyfriend and computer genius, not to mention habitual drug user, Damian Spinelli.

They had gotten together about a month after the hostage situation, after two boring dates with a sputtering Milo and an emotional conversation with Dillion. Spinelli was exactly what she needed, humour, bravery and adventure while genuinely caring for her. Her father loved him, Spinelli reminded Luke of a young, more innocent him. He was perfect. For her, anyway.

However, he had a bad habit of being late for everything. He always had his excuses, Stone Cold kept him behind, had to break down a particularly strong firewall, had to finish an important blog entry.

She stopped her pacing and glared as she watched him approach her. "Rest easy, my vivacious princess, for The Jackal has arrived," he said with a flourish and pecked her lightly on her cheek. He furrowed his brow at her lack of response. "What's with the glareage? Dude, is it you're birthday?" Now he looked genuinely terrified.

"No, it's not my birthday!" Lulu exclaimed as she stomped her foot.

"I totally knew that, pshaw! Yeah…" He trailed off, awkwardly.

"You're late, again, Damian Spinelli!" She yelled, sneering at him.

"Dude, no full name, please. You remind me of Granny, and that's a buzz kill." He said desperately as he reached over and touched her arm.

"Are you high?" She asked him suspiciously.

"What? No! Stone Cold is having none of that, he made that perfectly clear," he said as he looked away dejectedly. "I had to break into some offshore accounts for Señor Godfather. Dude, I'm not high," he said as he saw her still-suspicious face. He placed his large hands on her shoulders. "Does it bother you that I do partake in the herbal remedy every now and then?"

Lulu couldn't help but smile at his antics, it was part of the reason she was dating him. He had the ability to still make her smile, even when they were supposed to be serious. "You know it doesn't bother me."

"You know that if you told me that it bothered you and if you wanted me to quit, I would in a second, right?" He said, his eyes shining with love for her.

"And you know I would never ask you to," Lulu added as she looked up at him.

A goofy smile spread across his face and he pulled her into a hug. "And that, Blonde One, is why you are perfect," he pulled back and kissed her soundly in the forehead. "For me, anyway."
