~Prologue~
I'm Katniss I have my 3 best friends Peeta, Effie, and Gale. We all go to PrinceVille High School. My mom's name is Prim, and my dad's name is Cina. I love them to death. I have long curly brown hair. I love to go out and explore the town, and find out new things about it. Gale is like a brother to me. His parents died when he was only 5 years old, and he's lived with me ever since. He has light blonde hair, and green grass eyes. He and I love to go outside and lay on the grass to watch the stars. My real sister is Rue, she has bright sparkling eyes, and dark chocolate-brown hair. She has a shinning personality. She loves to go pick flowers out of our yard, and put them in a vase as a surprise when we get home. My mom, Prim is named after the Primrose flower. She is a doctor at Village Hospital. My dad, Cina is a fashion designer in a new building called Design Tactics. My real brother's name is Thresh. He has dark brown hair like our whole family does. He likes to go out in the woods and hunt for food or just look around at the scenery. Rue is 3 years younger than me at 11 years old. Thresh is older than me, he is 15 years old. Effie is an only child. She wears too much make up, but loves to go hunting with Thresh. Her mother's name is Glimmer, and her dad's name is Cato I don't really know much about her parents. She never talks about them. Petta has red hair, and light pale skin. He likes to go outside with Gale and I to watch the sunset and the stars. His mom dies 2 years ago at the age of 43 by cancer. He still has a happy smile on his face everyday. We always have fun together. Everyday we hang out together they practically live at my house. But now we're gonna live somewhere else for a while.
