Hello! This is my FIRST Percy Jackson and the Olympians fanfic! I absolutely LOVE these books. They're my FAVORITE series! I've been into them for like, 2 years. Annabeth is my FAVORITE character. This is after The Last Olympian and before The Lost Hero. So yes, Annabeth and Percy are dating. Me and my friend came up with this. It started by me saying "Bubbles." for a nickname for her character (she's making a demigod character. Daughter of Poseidon. We were trying to come up with names or nicknames, and for some reason she thought I was talking about Percy…) but we decided to write a fanfic about it. She helped with what would happen, and I wrote it. So this is what we came up with. Oh, and if I have any of the facts wrong, you can tell me. I'm going from memory.
It was Friday. That meant it was the weekly game of capture the flag. The blue team was the Hermes, Poseidon, and Demeter, and Hephaestus cabins. The red team was Athena, Ares, and Aphrodite. The blue team was setting up a strategy.
"Okay, we set up defenses here, here, here, and here." a Hermes camper said.
"Then of offense-" he continued, but got cut off.
"I GOT IT!" Percy yelled.
"What?" Connor Stoll asked.
"BLONDIE!" Percy said.
"Blondie? What the Hades is Blondie?"
"The new nickname for Annabeth, because if you haven't noticed, Owl-Head and Wise Girl are pretty lame nicknames."
"How 'bout we call you Bubbles?" a voice said. Everyone turned around to see Clarisse standing behind them, arms crossed.
"Bubbles?"Percy asked.
Clarisse smirked. She held up her hands. "I can see it now. Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon, Defeater of Kronos, Defender of Camp Half Blood. A.K.A Bubbles."
Everyone laughed.
Percy's face turned red. "That is NOT funny!"
"Sorry Percy," Travis said, "But it kinda is."
"Wait." Percy said, looking at Clarisse suspiciously. "Why are you here?"
"None of your business, Bubbles." Clarisse said, emphasizing the last word. She walked away.
"Well," Percy sighed. "Looks like we need a new strategy."
