"Wow, look at that! Holy Loly Mountain!" Loid squeaked. "Hold on, I gotta take a picture." Loid was right; the mountain's swirling clouds at its summit, paired with the stunning purple sunset, were quite a marvel. CLICK! " Okay, we can go now."
Ninten, Loid, Teddy and I slowly but surely trekked our way to the small cottage Teddy had told us about. There were three rooms, but Teddy probably wouldn't be doing any sleeping after all that energy drink from Valentine. "Well, we had better get a good rest. I've got a good feelin' that the last melody is near." Teddy headed towards the kitchen to get some food prepared. Loid grabbed his notebook and started drawing while Ninten just stood around awkwardly. Alright, this is my chance, I thought. "Um, hey, Ninty? Can I talk to you for a second?"
I pulled him into a bedroom and took a deep breath. Ninten just stared at me. Those eyes, those deep, brown eyes... "Ana, you're making me kind of nervous. What did you need to tell me? Is it something to do with Giegue?" I shook my head. "No, it's nothing — I mean, it is something. It's just hard for me to say, so I just kind of needed to tell you here." I was literally sweating all of my body's water through my hands, from both the intensity of the situation and the hot room.
"Ninten, do you... Do you love me?"
Ninten, again, just stared, but this time, he looked confused. "I'm sorry, it was a stupid question... Just go away and never — mmmm..."
Ninten's arms were all the way around my waist, pulling me closer every second. His lips guided mine and caused me to let out a low moan. At first, I was confused, but then I wrapped my arms around his neck and played with his soft, black hair. He laughed and I could feel the corners of his lips turn up. Quickly, the kiss became more intense as Ninten twirled me around and pressed harder and harder...
CREEEEAAAK!
"Hey, have you guys seen my — Errr... I think I'd better leave you two alone..." Teddy had walked in, looking for his katana. Ninten blushed. I looked up at him as Teddy left the room.
He pulled me back in and whispered, "That's okay. I wouldn't have it any other way."
After another wonderful kiss, he freezes. "What's wrong?" I ask. Ninten takes my hands. "I forgot something, Ana..."
"What?"
"Yes."
