Summary: Five year ago, at the Akatsuki's attack to Konoha, Sakura was wounded by Konan and put into coma . When she woke up, she found that Konoha had been restored and Sasuke was engaged to Karin! But what Sasuke didn't know, that his mistake had driven Sakura to the arms of another man...
A/N Hi! Naya talking here! This fanfic is written by KuroHime27 and md5will, actually this is her idea but she's gonna be busy coz she's in the year 12 now and the exams are going near, so we decided to make it together, she writing the dialog and I making the description :) enjoy!
Sasuke and Naruto sat gloomily on the chairs that were placed in the Sakura's hospital rooms that were just being renovated from the attack. The medical machine that was donated kindly by Suna for them surrounded her, beeping and humming small noises all wired to her body, keeping her alive. Her bruised, battered body laid weakly on the clean white bed. Sasuke was holding her right hand while her left one was grasped by Naruto.
Sakura had been like this since two years ago, since the Great War that almost destroyed Konoha. They had built it back; Naruto had been honored to be the Hokage and Sasuke had come back and helped him through it all. Konoha had been restored but it was missing something, they're missing the cheery glow from that was mysteriously gone since their cherry blossom laid to sleep, a long and endless slepp which destroyed both of them since the day that the war has ended.
Sakura fought the second hand in command of the famous Akatsuki, Konan herself, without any help. They were too busy fighting Pein and than each other to even think about their blossom's whereabouts. When they reached her, Konan's body was lying in a pool of her blood and papers, but so was Sakura.
She had lost too much blood and there were no medics to helped her. Ino was fainted because of chakra depletion; Tsunade and Shizune had passed away while the others were also missing. They had to carry her all the way to Suna for her to get a proper medication. Now, two year had past, she had not cracked an eye, and the guilt was eating the boy's poor hearts.
"yo teme, when will we can see her smile again? I really miss her laugh, her smile, even her punch" said naruto sadly.
"Hn. How am I supposed to know dobe, she's been at this state for two years now there's nothing we can change about it. It's her own fault to faced Konan herself without waiting for us. If she was stronger she will not be in this state" he said coldly.
"HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT!!! SHE'S OUR SAKURA-CHAN YOU CAN'T JUST CALLED HER WEAK JUST BECAUSE SHE WAS TRYING TO SAVE THIS VILLAGE!!!!!" the blonde burst out
"we've discussed this topic over and over dobe, and I'm kinda sick of this topic" he walk away calmly.
"TEME!!!!! GET BACK HERE I'M NOT FINISH TALKING TO YOU"
The blonde was running out of the room to chase his friend.
Nee….sasuke-kun….would you wait for me ?
Would you wait for me to open my eyes and see you again?
Because I'm trying….I'm really trying to open my eyes, to see you again
