I could only watch the dark wizard preform these acts.
I wished I could prevent it.
I looked over to the poor girl.
She had to witness all that.
She was shaking terriblely.
I only can wish for the best.
Harry's POV
I don't feel right.
I can still remember the exact moment when Cedric died.
It was just last year.
It just keeps replaying inside my head.
I need new problems to keep my mind off old ones.
"Attention Please!" Dumledore announced. "I would like to make a announcedment before the sorting hat is brought out. We have a special student here this year. Her name is Tail Lumin. She has suffered some terrible losses. She is only five. The reason she is here is because her family members have been murdered. We belive that she witnessed all of these terrible things."
"Who would do such a thing?" Ginny whispered.
"I know," I said to her. "Voldemort."
"But why would he do that to a little girl?" Hermione questioned.
"Because he's evil," Ron replied. "Why else?"
The more I thougth about it, the more I thought he might have wanted something.
He doesn't kill people unless he needs something or if they're threats.
Suddenly the doors burst open, filling the isle with a huge crowd of new students.
It took a long hour to get through just half the students.
By then Ron looked like he was going to eat his shoe.
"Lumin,Tailia!"
I finally saw what this girl looked like.
She was very small with short dark dark black hair.
She had very pale skin, she walked very slowly up toward the sorting hat.
"Hmmmm," I spoke. "I'm not sure here. I haven't had this much indecision since Mr. Potter came up here. Let's see I you can deal with him. Gryffindor!"
Ron had started laughing at me now.
I started to laugh too.
Hermione and Ginny moved to give Talia some room.
She smiled at them for a second.
Professer McGonagoll walked over and asked if Hermione could follow her for a second.
She agreed and they walked off.
Hermione's POV
I followed Professer McGonagoll out of the dining hall.
"Miss Granger, since you are Gryffindor's best student I would like to ask if you would have any trouble with schooling Miss Lumin in the evenings." She said. "Hagrid will be watching her during the day. Even during his classes. But since he is not one to be teaching spells, I hope that you could take the resposobility."
"I will Professer." I said hoping not to disapoint.
"Thank you Miss Granger, I will let you go back to the dining hall."
We walked back to the dining hall and took are seats.
As soon as Professer McGonagall finished saying something to Dumbledore the feast began.
Ron, as usual, pretty much threw his face against his plate.
A normal first day.
A new OC.
