I Just Love You

Inspired by Five for Fighting's, I Just Love You.

JOE'S POV-

I would like to say it was a coincidence that I was thinking of her when she called. But, the truth was it wouldn't have mattered when she called. I was always thinking of Stella.

It was late. Or, depending how you looked at it, early. After a long show in London, we were on the tour bus, of to Manchester. I was tired after several weeks of nonstop concerts, and shows, but was sleeping less and less. I wanted to call her, but if it was early in the morning here, it would be very late in New Jersey. Kevin had zonked out on the pull out and would sleep as long as Dad would allow. Nick was reading in the passenger seat. I pretended to be asleep on the arm chair, as my dad and brothers have been discouraged at my lack of sleep, but I was just staring at the sealing. I jumped as my phone vibrated. My stomach instantly turned into a massive knot, as I see "S T E L L A" across the small screen.

"Stella?" I didn't bother to keep the fear from my voice, "Stella, it's late. Is everything okay?" Everything else disappears in an instant. Nick looking up from his book looking puzzled at me, Kevin's snores, and the road racing past me. Then, I heard Stella's voice, the one that still gave me butterflies, say quietly, "I-I just love you. I don't know why, I just do. When are you coming home?" "I' coming home soon. And I just love you, too.

August 23nd, the day we got home. It was an amazing feeling, holding Stella again. Best in the world. We (Stella, Kevin, Nick, Macy & I) all talk about our summers until late. After everyone leaves, Stella gently puts her head on my heart and softly wispers the words, "I just love you. I do't know why, I just do. I'm glad your home." "I'm glad I'm home, too. And I just love you, too."

Way short JONAS fiction. There is not enough Stella/Joe. This is based of the Five for Fighting song, "I Just love you."
