As the night falls, Sakyo and Takanosuke are still looking for somewhere to stay for the night.
They walk in silence, as Sakyo isn't much for talking, and at last, they reaches a field.
Takanosuke immediately collapses and lets out a sigh of exhaustion.
Sakyo glances at him, but doesn't say anything as he sits down next to the blond.
Takanosuke turns around so he's facing Sakyo.
"Sakyo..? Ar-"
"It's okay. Sleep." Sakyo says, not even bother to wait for him to finish talking.
The younger male smiles and closes his eyes sleepily.
A moment later, he's fast asleep, making small noises every now and then.
During the time Sakyo has known him, he has come to realize that Takanosuke always whines in his sleep. At first, it was worrying (not that he would ever admit it) and kinda annoying, but after a while, he learned to ignore it.
Sakyo ruffles the blond's hair and mumbles 'good night' - something he would never do if Takanosuke was awake - before laying down and trying to sleep as well.
As hours pass, Sakyo find it impossible to do so.
He turns towards Takanosuke, watching the blond sleep peacefully.
That doesn't help him at all, so he turns around again.
When he finally gets comfortable and starts dozing off, he hears Takanosuke scream.
His eyes flies wide open and he turns around, only to find the blond still asleep.
Sakyo groans frustrated, but then he realizes that Takanosuke is crying, probably having a nightmare.
He decides to wake him up, but he's unsure as to how.
"Takanosuke? Takanosuke!" He exclaims, but when he still doesn't wake up, he loses his temper. "TAKANOSUKE!"
Takanosuke screams and his eyes shot open. He immediately spots Sakyo and he throws his arms around him, sobbing uncontrollably.
Sakyo blinks, trying to figure out how to handle the situation. This is not something Takanosuke normally does.
He attempts to pull away, but the younger male grips onto his jacket and pulls him closer.
"S-Sakyo.." he weeps. "S-stay.. d-don't leave m-me.."
The red haired male puts his arms around him and pats his back uncertainly.
At some point, Takanosuke accidentally pushes Sakyo down on the ground and lands on top of him. He tries to get up, but Sakyo stops him.
The older male wipes the blonde's tear-stained cheek and tells him to try and go back to sleep.
Embarrassed, Takanosuke looks away from him and blushes, but then he rests his head against Sakyo's chest.
Sakyo plays a little with Takanosuke's hair, waiting for him to fall asleep. This calms the blond down, and soon, Sakyo hear him whining; a sign that he has fallen asleep once more.
With Takanosuke so close to him, Sakyo has no problem falling asleep, and soon, his eyes closes as he drifts of.
