Draco Malfoy had been lonely, despised and upset.

Luna Lovegood had been happy, carefree and loving.

The Battle of Hogwarts had changed everything. The two opposites became friends, and now as they flew around the Quidditch Stadium late at night, Draco had felt truly happy for the first time in a few years..

Luna had accepted him, trusted him, cared for him. He was so happy to know her.

She was an angel.

Luna's beautiful laugh brought him back to earth. She had started flying around him.

"Race you!" She said.

"You're on!"

He knew that his Firebolt was much faster than her broomstick, but Draco let her get ahead of him anyway.

"I win!"

Luna stuck her tongue out teasingly and did some lapping around the stadium on her broom. Out of the corner of his eye, Draco was watching her every move. Her blonde hair was flying behind her like a cloak in the wind.

At a sharp turn, Luna lost her balance and was holding on to her broom still suspended in the air for dear life.

"Draco!"

She didn't need to say his name. He was by her broom in an instant, trying to help her up.

She screamed and lost her grip on her broom. But Draco had grabbed her hand before she could fall. She climbed on the back of his broom and hugged him from behind.

"Thank you for saving me."

Draco glanced back. Her face was still scared from what could've happened, but it was still beautiful. Her long curly hair danced around her face and the stars made it glow.

Luna grabbed his waist to hold herself on the broom and a wonderful sensation shot through Draco's body.

He got bored of the quidditch stadium, so he turned and left to explore other parts of Hogwart's grounds.

The full moon shone over the friends speeding towards the lake. Luna was enjoying every moment riding with Draco, his handsome features shining by the illumination emitting from the star light. His hair light and out of control, but Luna liked it like that.

But did he feel the same? What did Draco see when he saw Luna? Just her and her oddness, or did he like her, think she was beautiful? Luna wish she knew.

The broom slowed to a stop at the shore of the big lake. Luna got off first, then Draco dismounted. Luna gave Draco a questioning look.

"Let's just look at the stars from here."

She nodded and sat down, leaning against the steep hill that led up to the castle. Draco sat next to her, and they looked at the stars.

"Luna?" Draco said after a few moments.

"Hmm?" She looked at him, and the fireworks started. She saw Draco like she never had saw him before. He looked so much more happy and joyful than he had during the war. His handsome face made Luna's legs feel like jell-o.

Draco was taken away by Luna's appearance. Her inner beauty shone on the outside as well. Her big, lovely gray eyes were staring at him and he could tell that she must have been feeling the same way.

Draco leaned in closer to Luna, and his lips connected with hers. They fit together perfectly. They broke away from the kiss and quietly sneaked back inside the castle, their smiles wide and fingers entwined.

So there it is! I hope you liked it! Pretty please (with a nargle on top) review! Constructive criticism is welcome. I apologize if I made any mistakes!
