After Avatar korra past on the red lotus search world wide for the avatar for millions of years.The reincarnation of the spirts were gone, soon enough spirits and bending were know extinct, the world changed as you knew it technology became more advanced and people became more independent the, avatar was now merely a myth that no one remembered.
