So it's about time I wrote something PG-rated about this pairing. XD Or at least without porn. Seriously, so far these two just can't keep their hands off each other in my fics.

Sometimes Alder thought Cheren did certain things on purpose, just to drive him insane.

He was used to the boy's quirks and idiosyncrasies. The constant snark, his forever hot and cold running moods, his bravado. These things were what made him Cheren, they were endearing annoyances that Alder couldn't imagine life without.

But Cheren had another side to him, a devious, sneaky side that came out to play at the most random times. Like right now. He sat propped up against several pillows with nose nose buried in a book and a few strands of hair hanging in his face. Just begging to be played with or brushed aside.

Did he really think Alder could resist that?

And then there was the candy. Every now and then he'd reach into a small bag beside him, take out a piece of chocolate or fruit-flavored candy and slip it slowly between his lips, chewing slowly and thoughtfully. Licking his lips, or occasionally his fingertip.

I swear, he's doing it on purpose, Alder thought again as Cheren turned the page. Was this a game of "you can look but not touch" he was playing, or did he want Alder to touch him? Those strands of hair continued to beckon him, his glasses slid down his nose...and then another piece of candy, this time Cheren sucking his finger a bit.

Damn!

Cheren swallowed, and Alder was instantly in front of him, shoving the book out of the way and kissing him; he tasted of chocolate and oranges and his lips were warm and pliant against Alder's. When they pulled back, Cheren was blushing brightly and too flustered to even glare.

"You made me lose my place." The reproach was weak and the tone was shaky. Alder grinned.

"Something tells me you weren't that interested in your reading," he teased. Cheren struggled to regain his composure, no doubt trying to put on his usual mask of annoyance and failing miserably.

"Y-you're completely bothersome," he stammered. "Why can't you just...I was trying to..."

"Drive me insane?" Alder gently toyed with those strands of hair. "Mission accomplished," he whispered, and Cheren exhaled in a shaky breath.

"Damn you." With a sweep of his hand he sent the book skittering across the floor, pressing himself firmly against Alder. "I was hoping you'd be oblivious."

"Me? Oblivious when it comes to you?" Alder chuckled. Cheren sighed, idly tracing his finger in circles against Alder's chest.

"You're the most aggravating person I've ever met," he grumbled, an all too common complaint that Alder had learned not to take seriously anymore. "Sometimes I think you like to drive me insane."

"Then I'd say we're about even, wouldn't you?" Alder asked. Cheren actually smiled a little.

"If you say so." The smile became a grin, and he offered the bag of candy. "Would you like one?" Aha! Payback time.

"I thought you'd never ask." He took one of the cherry-flavored pieces, slowly slipped it into his mouth and chewed slowly, licking his lips once. The blush on Cheren's face deepened, and as soon as Alder swallowed their lips came together once more.

In the corner, Cheren's book lay open to a random page, completely forgotten.
