A/N: Been trying to write something CCS, but it wouldn't work. This is probably my best attempt yet. One-shot. Syaoran's POV.

Beta Sunfreak's note: *_* Wai, S+S fluff. And go me- I finally learned how to spell "Syaoran!"

"Daydreams"

*

I was sitting at my desk, literally buried in work, and with no idea how I'd get it all finished when Sakura walked into the room. My impending sense of despair turned to joy at the sight of my wife and her slightly rounded stomach. She smelled like cinnamon, and had several spots of flour on her face and clothes.

And she was smiling at me. That's the way I liked her best- smiling.

"Hello, Syaoron," Sakura greeted me. "How are you feeling?"

"Fine. You two?" I questioned, referring to her and the baby.

"Wonderful." She patted her stomach, and then bent over and kissed me. I kissed back.

"What do you want to do today?" I asked.

"What do I want to do, or what am I going to do?" She gave me a mischievous smirk.

"Both," I said with a faint grin.

"I'm going shopping for baby things," she replied. "And I want to be with you." I already knew what she wanted to ask me. She wanted me to come with her, but she knew I had work and so said nothing.

"Then let's kill two birds with one stone," I suggested with a smile. "I'll go shopping with you."

"Really?" Sakura looked startled. "But- don't you have to finish your work?" She gestured toward my desk, puzzled.

"Already done." I lied. She was more important than any work I had to do. Sakura cried out in glee and gave me one of her most dazzling smiles.

And just as I was thinking my life was to good to be true, the scene changed back to reality.

"Li! Li!"

I was at my desk in the classroom and the teacher was yelling at me. I'd been having another daydream.

"I see you have better things to do than listen in class," Mr. Terada said in annoyance. "Go out in the hall!"

I felt at least twenty pairs of eyes follow me to the door and mentally winced. It was happening more and more. Having daydreams, I mean- about Sakura. And, as always, I felt like a fool as soon as I snapped out of it.

I opened the door and stood up against the wall. Lost in thought and unaware of my fellow student standing two feet away from me.

"Hey. What did you do?" asked a voice. I swear I jumped a foot in the air. "Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you."

It was Sakura.

"Um, well- uh- that's okay." I was blushing like crazy- and like usual.

"So what did you do?" she asked again.

"Wasn't paying attention," I sighed as my blush intensified. "You?"

"I was asleep."

I smiled, barely able to keep from laughing. How typical of Sakura.

"Hey, it's not funny," Sakura complained. "It's like a disease. I can't control it. It's probably terminal." She started to laugh, and now that she had started I couldn't hold it in any longer myself.

Her laugh wasn't one of those little or polite giggles you heard in the movies. It was loud, and she snorted several times, and even slightly annoying.

But I couldn't help loving it. I loved everything about her. Even the things I hated, I had always loved.

Terada came into the hall. "And what may I ask is so funny?" We stopped dead. "Well? Speak up." We said nothing, too afraid we'd start laughing again. "You two need to separate." He pointed to opposite ends of the hall and returned to class without looking back.

"Thank you," Sakura whispered as she passed me to go to the other end of the hall. My heart sped up and my face reddened again as I remembered my daydream.

As I watched her walk away I made a promise to myself that I would do everything I could to make all those daydreams a reality.
