I'm tried of living these lies

In the lonely dark I cry

Someone save me free

So in this world-

I can finally be free

It's hard taking in the truth. I lost him. Simple as that. I may be able to help his heart by looking like her...but I'm not. He knows that. It's too hard; I try to make him know. But in the end I'm living a lie. I know now- no matter how much I love him...he never will love me back.

(Never say Never)

When I'm away I cry...I always close my eyes when I do. So that I'm locked into the darkness.

(Trapped)

"Kagome?"

(He's Calling)

I wipe my tears quickly and get up hoping my eyes aren't red. He looks at me and frowns, "what's wrong?"

(He'll find out soon)

I shake my head, "I'm just a little tired I guess," she says placing on a fake smile.

(He'll always wonder)

He stared at me for a second longer, "if you say so-"

(Lying is a point of weakness)

"I do," I said lying easily. But all I really wanted to do was cry alone either that or crawl to him and tell him why I really cried. He nodded his head over to outside of the place I cried in.

(Have him take you- Love you)

He walked ahead to the pond we rested near by. He looked back at me and smiled, "come here!"

(With every beat you know you're heart is breaking)

I walk over to him and sit next to him. The stars are out and the moon is gleaming against the lake. A light drift of wind is carried around the area. "Sit," Inuyasha said.

(Don't fight you're heart)

I sat down and stared not the lake. Loving the way it caught the light of the stars and the moon with a shimmer. "Kagome?" He says.

(Follow you're heart)

He took my hand making me look at him; heat rising in my neck, "are you alright?"

(Remember- Love is always pain)

I shrugged, "I don't know."

(But in the end- love is worth it all)

"Why?" He ask.

(Telling you're self and accepting the other- is love)

I stared into those eyes. Felt the warmth of his skin while he held my hand and heard the beat of my heart, "I don't know."

(There is no lie in love as the same as there is no truth)

"Was it Miroku, again?" Inuyasha said. His glare as out to the pond.

(Protecting is care)

"What? No."

(But love is helping with protection)

"Oh," he paused and looked back at her, "then what is it?"

(Love)

She merely looked at him and smile, "I'll tell you one day."

(Is pain)

He shrugged and stared back into the water.

(Save Him and you're self- for love)

Maybe next time, she thought as she watched him.

(Isn't love worth...anything or everything?)
