"Green..." Blue's flail voice murmured.
Blue, mangled and bloodied, was held tightly by Green. It was the end of it all. Yes, Blue had saved the world. However, in order for her to preform such a feat, she had to give up her life. The Mask of Ice was not just a formidable foe, but a powerful enemy that was capable to destroying the world. Blue knew, deep down, that somehow it would end this way. It would be a lie if she claimed that she was not afraid to die. No, because she was afraid that she would part with them.
"Blue! B-Blue, you're g-going to be just fine! I promise! J-Just be still!" Green replied in alarm.
He reached for his sleeve with shaking hands and tore it off. He tried desperately to stop the bleeding, however...
"Ha... that's the first time I've seen you so nervous....Green," Blue chuckled through her weak voice.
"Why the hell are you laughing at a time like this?! Damn it, Blue! I...I can't lose you! We can't lose you! Damn it! Damn it to hell! You're going to be just fine Blue! I will make sure you will!"
Tears fell through his closed eyes and landed on the brunette's face in his arms.
"....Green... I'm sorry, but... this is it... for me..." Blue whispered.
Green stayed unspoken as hot tears invaded his face.
"Tell Aqua... that I love her dearly..."
Green wiped his wet face and choked out, "I-I will."
Blue smiled as a tear streamed down her face. Green couldn't bear to look away from Blue now. He was watching her slowly die, but he knew if he tore away from her now he would never have the chance to speak to her again.
Blue slowly extended her hand and gently caressed Green's wet cheek. She smiled once again.
"...I love you, Green."
With pursed lips, Green pressed Blue's hand against his own and gently nodded.
Then, her hand went limp. Green could see that Blue's life had been taken away.
