Disclaimer: No, Torchwood isn't mine. It belongs to the BBC.

If i had thought this through, you wouldn't be lying here

All i can think of are my mistakes, but it's too late

Now you've gone

To someplace i can never see

Oh, but it is cold

Just one more day – it wouldn't be enough, but if

Only i could tell you everything, or at least lay your fears to rest: you're

Not just one in a long line –not you, never

Everything ends too soon, especially a love that lasts too long, and you're dead, and all i can do is offer you this

Sealed with a kiss

A/N: I actually started this years and years ago, after finishing Children Of Earth the first time. I only knew the first word of each stanza, though, the form, and the last line, so i didn't get very far. Then this weekend i was reading and thinking about a lot of poetry, and this popped back into my head. I hope it turned out okay. I haven't written any poetry in years, and it's been a while since i've watched Torchwood too.
