Bomberman 64-Card Games
A collared bronze scorpion of gigantic proportions clicked its claws on the cold tiles as the trembling scout approached the insect's owner.
"Lord Theraius, we will be arriving at Planet Bomber within two hours. Have you prepared for your descent?" The shadowy figure's eyes flashed an aquamarine blue, momentarily illuminating the shivering minion. The soldier's armour was imprinted with the signs of the four cards; the brown diamond, the emerald clover, the fiery pink heart and last of all, the blue shape of the spade, sharp and deadly. "Of course. Now go, and inform my generals." The scorpion tapped its poisonous tail on the wall behind it, dislodging some dried blood from the tip. "Oh, and tell one of the apprentices to come and see me. Hibira is hungry, aren't you Hibi-kun?" The insect hissed in approval.

"Mistress Veriya, we will be arriving at Planet Bomber soon..." The Card Knight smiled and reached a hand into her pet's tank, a giant, dull blue anglerfish with bulbous white eyes. "Good. Leviathan wants to get out, but that's not something I can do onboard this ship. All this beautiful, shiny metal and Theraius-sama won't even provide one little swimming pool for my Levi-chan?" Veriya pouted. While she was sulking, the messenger scuttled away. "And there will be lots of meat for us, Veryai!" A glowing ball of light circled the Card Knight's head excitedly. "Yessss...meat..." 'Veryai' hissed. "Patience, Veryai...patience..."

"Kurova-sama. We will be-" The Knight waved his hand. "Begone. I already know, messenger." He patted the crouching black spider curled up beside him that breathed icy mist, fogging the room up. "Hear that, Manta-chan? We're going to Bomber Planet. Lots of prey for you to hunt and eat." Lost in its dark dreams, the ice arachnid wriggled pleasurably, and hissed under its breath, clouding the room even more. The Knight smiled contentedly, and ran his fingers through the rough hairs on Manta's back...

"Dia-sama, I expect you know already." The Knight nodded silently. "I must go." The messenger vanished in a whirl of dark energy. Diamante scratched his sleeping dragon, Draco, behind the ears. "We're arriving at Planet Bomber, hmmm? Good. I hope to find some stronger enemies there." Draco nuzzled Diamante on the leg, then settled down to sleep again. In a few seconds, small bursts of fiery flames were hissing from the dragon's nostrils. "Yes, you will find plenty of food to eat." Diamante watched his pet sleeping for a moment, then followed Draco's example, dozing off immediately. The ship was quiet as it sailed through space...

Author's Note: Meh. Flames will not be accepted. Crits and comments will. I know there's some Card Knights hanging around somewhere, because in Rainbow Palace there are card soldiers wandering around everywhere and a midboss(Spellmaker) who shuffles cards to attack...and besides, I don't make any connections when Sirius + cards are concerned anyway.
