Yearnings of the Heart
A cruel fate came between us
Yet we've moved with the years
I'm doing just fine
But I still miss you and wonder if you still miss me
All I have are my memories
Pictures fading with the passing of time
I wish I could see you again
Since we've been parted, my being has been two
I am saddened
The remedy is a world away
No flight can take me there
My wish is one:
I want to be with you!
Oh, what I would give to hold you in my arms
To feel you holding me
To pour out my heart
To laugh at the past
To aspire of the future
To live!
Where are you?
Am I crazy?
Why must it be this way?
Must I let you go
…Forever?
I love you and I wonder if you still love me
Still
I go on
I'm doing just fine
