Aneko: Another oneshot! Man, I just can't seem to get myself to write the multi-chap fic. But don't worry! It will be coming!!

Our Forever Song
When was the first time? None of us can recall. It is lost in the pages of history, the drying ink the last words of a crazed storyteller.
In the beginning, though, we were all fresh and new, full of life and spirit. This much we remember. We cried our first tears, danced to the first song, said our first words filled with feeling.
Then the (story) is over, and you're left breathless; but the fact remains that is is over. The story is not new anymore; and the tears dry up, the song dies away and the words fade to whispers.
But then perhaps someone new comes along, and wants to hear the story too, and so the cycle is repeated, again and again.
We lose track of all the tears, the words, the dances. It becomes a blur, only remembered in a half-sleep; and perhaps some day, while we are going about our business, we may stop and wonder, "Have I done this before?" because it feels so very familiar.
So we continue our words, our dances, our tears, because we cannot remember. Perhaps we never truly knew in the first place.
And in this lost, endless cycle, we may have realized, and are just afraid to admit it.
But we feel we are nothing more than stale words on a page.
Until someone new comes again, and those words have meaning again.
And so we continue to dance, in this eternal cycle.
After all, this is our forever song.
Aneko: If you were a little confused, it's okay, so was I (weird, I know)! T have to say, though, I'm kind of proud of the title. Normally I fail at titling my stories…
It's told from the perspective of all the characters.
