Rachel woke up in a hazy fog this morning. Literally. As she peered out of her window, she could hardly make out the 2 houses across from hers. Finn's and Noah's.

At the thought of Noah, Rachel bit her lip. She stared at her disheveled bed, remembering just what had taken place there the night before. She sighed, and then began to strip her bed. No need to be reminded of the mistake she had made. And boy, was it a big one. But… was it actually a mistake? Or a beautiful reminder of how life could be like when it didn't revolve around Finn.

Rachel collapsed onto her bare, queen size bed. Being as small as she was, she shifted to the top left corner of the bed and curled into a little ball. Rachel looked out of place, just a little spot on the huge bed. Ironically, it was very similar to her situation with Finn. She was just a tiny blip on Finn's map. That blip that is disregarded and discarded regularly. Her deep brown eyes started to close, and Rachel recalled the events of last night. Very vividly, of course, because Rachel Berry doesn't do anything half assed (Noah's words, not hers).

Rachel was a mess. She had attended the celebratory football party for one reason and one reason only: Finn Hudson. But the problem? He wanted nothing to do with her, and she just couldn't comprehend why. He even had the nerve to think that Rachel had crashed the party. Of course she'd never do anything as un ladylike as that! Noah invited her, she remembered, after glee. Being as distraught as she was, she headed to the makeshift bar, which was really just a table filled with plastic cups and lukewarm beers. She grabbed one, but then proceeded to struggle with the bottle cap. Suddenly, a pair of strong, masculine arms grabbed it out of her much smaller hands and opened it right away. She looked up. Noah.

Rachel awoke from her impromptu nap abruptly, hitting her head on the wooden headboard. "Fuck," she uttered, applying pressure to her head. Although Rachel had an impeccable vocabulary and excelled at most things, she could just not stop herself from swearing. But honestly, she didn't care anymore. In more appropriate words, she did not give e a flying fuck about what people thought about her anymore. What was the point? The majority of the student body hated her, and it's not as if she had a reason to be perfect anymore. Finn has recently been studying the anatomy of what is under each Cheerio's short skirt. Or so she's heard from Noah.

She sighed. It was upsetting to hear, as anybody would imagine. Finn is so sweet, and caring. And nice. Or, at least, he used to be. Rachel felt the sadness taking over her petite body, and soon enough the hot tears erupted from her eyes. Why was her life so unbearable these days? What, just what the fuck had she done to deserve this tragic, crazy, fucked up life she was living? Oh yea, that's right. Being the selfish person she was, she had told Finn about the baby gate scandal. Because she wanted him. And she wasn't going to deny it. She, Rachel Berry, wanted Finn Hudson. Oh so badly. But she could never have him, because of her own stupidity. She stood up and walked into her bathroom. Reaching into the medicine cabinet, she pulled out her savior.

She needed to forget.

She needed to feel numb.

And that is exactly what she was going to do.

Hehe, so what'd you think?

Hopefully, you won't be too mad at me for making the characters somewhat OOC.

But I felt like writing an angsty story.

This was intended to be a one shot,

But perhaps I'll continue it.

If you'd like me to, that is.
