Star-crossed lovers
When John Paul McQueen found his fiance dead on their living room carpet his first instinct was not to phone the ambulance. In a short reflection minutes later he'd rationalise that calling an ambulance out for a dead body was pointless and a waste of public services. Someone would call the police, he just hoped it wasn't his mother. Maybe Calvin would find the bodies, then he could break it to Carmel and then the rest of his family. They'd be stricken with grief but that was far better than what he was going through now. He noticed the four untouched cans, took one; for courage, then another, and another.
John Paul stumbled through the small apartment, found the medicine cabinet above the sink. took several bottles out. He noted the word "Luvox" on the label but it didn't ring a bell. Wasn't his or Kieron's. Didn't matter because the young man moved to his shared bedroom, grasped the duvet and made his way back to the living room. He settled down awkwardly behind Kieron's stiff body, wrapped his arm around Kieron's chest, pushed a leg between Kieron's. He pushed himself up onto his elbow, grasped his phone from his pocket and sent text to Craig Dean, the man he'd adultered with just an hour ago. God, he was such an idiot. He could of saved Kieron if he hadn't of let himself crumble. He'd turned Craig down twice, why couldn't he of done so a third time. He reached for the bottle, unscrewed the cap with some effort, stupid anti-child caps, then downed the bottle. Swallowed them in gulps, helped down by the last can of larger.
Calvin and Eddie had been the first to find them. Myra had been worrying and Carmel had asked them to stop by because Niall who'd been at Steff's for the last week or so hadn't seen them either. Three days later the two policemen went around, maybe they'd left some sort of note. "Oh shit" Calvin had turned around, nearly thrown up, because there was his future brother-in-law, dead and curled up to his equally dead lover, both under a sick covered duvet.
The day of the funeral Craig Dean hung himself from the bar of The Dog. The only explanation was the message on his phone screen "It's your fault"
Author's Notes: Don't hate me?
pwease don't hate me. LOL
another what could of happened alternate ending. Notice this way nobody wins? Yay to an end of the war. Sorry.. I promise my next one won't kill off our lovelies. Promise. This was just because I didn't see how John Paul could ever be happy with the guilt that he'd killed Kieron.. even though he didn't because Kieron wouldn't of known he shagged Craig yet 0.0
But yea... Luvox is a depression medication by the way.. so kinda clues that Niall suffers depression
