She walked down the stairs. Her long straight black hair covered half of her back. She looked down on to the ground. I can't believe he dumped me. Karissa thought to herself. She had dark brown hair, a sadistic face. Shuichi... She whispered to herself. She had walked out of school, down the stairs, kneeling against a tree, and waiting for Shuichi.
He said he'd meet me here to tell me the reason. Karissa looked at her watch. It was 2:55 P.M. She kept eyeing the school doors for any sign of the red haired Shuichi. Karissa was deeply depressed of Shuichi leaving her as her boyfriend. He never treated her as girlfriend, but she still wanted to be with him because she loved him. Yet she felt like their relationship wasn't working.
What did I do to make everything go wrong? I try to stay out of his way when he tells me to. How did I go wrong? I thought I was doing okay. But I guess now that he left me, I was thinking wrong. She sighed. She didn't want to face Shuichi, so she started to walk away from school. She didn't want to know the reason the more she thought about it. She thought it could have been the blue haired girl who always stopped by to speak to him privately. I never did ask him who was she, or what she meant to him.
He isn't the guy for me I guess. She tried to cheer herself up. She kept starring down on the road as she walked home. She turned around as soon as she heard the familiar voice she had been hearing for over a year. "Karissa, wait!"
It was Shuichi. "What do you want?" Karissa asked. "I really need to speak to you about my reason. It hurts to leave you without telling you." He said in his soft voice. "I don't want to know. You have your reasons, I understand. I try." Karissa turned around and started to walk away without saying good-bye to him. She mentioned to him that she never wished to speak to him as long as they were still seeing each other.
She couldn't bear seeing him every single day smiling at her as he walked through the hallways, greeting her as he walked into a classroom.
As soon as she arrived at her house, she saw someone standing in front of her door. It was a guy with black hair, a black suit, and what seemed like a sword at his side. He glared at her with his red eyes. "You shouldn't feel bad about Kurama leaving you." Karissa was confused. "Kurama?" She did not know Shuichi's other name was Kurama. "Shuichi. You should know he does have feelings for you. It hurts him leaving you after a year. He tells me about it." He answered.
"Who are you?" Karissa asked him. "Hiei." He replied. "He isn't what you think he is. He isn't who you think. Get over the fact you wont be with him. If you wish for him to be happy, let him go, and forget about him." Hiei responded.
