Emily Fields and Santana Lopez are girlfriends, but can a misunderstanding ruin their relationship?

" Honey, I'm home" shouts the voice of the Latina. No reply. "Babe are you home?" still no answer. The Latina walks into the master bedroom, whom she shares with her girlfriend of 4 years, to change out of her work clothes. The door is closed. She doesn't bother knocking and walks in. there laid on the bed is Emily, Santana's girlfriend. But she's not alone, there's another girl on top of Emily, kissing her neck.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?" Shouts Santana. Emily and the mystery girl jump apart.

"Santana its not what it looks like" lies Emily.

"oh, I think it does" says Santana before storming out of the shared apartment.

An hour later…

Santana is sat in a booth at the local bar, beer in hand. She's been sat alone for about 45 mins, when a body is across from her. Santana looks up. Its Emily.

"San let me explain…" before Emily could continue, Santana stopped her.

"no, I don't need or want an explanation" Santana drinks the last of her beer and walks over to the bar. Emily follows not giving up.

"san, I need to explain . it really isn't what you think" says Emily desperately honest.

Santana sighs and lets her continue this time. " that girl she's… she's my ex. I seen her in the coffee shop this morning, we had coffee, chatted a while and I asked her back to ours so we could catch up abit more" says Emily. Santana nods for Emily to continue.

"well we were sat talking for a while she asked if I still had feelings for her. I told her I would always care for her and that I'm in a relationship and in love with you. She forced herself on me, I'm sorry" Emily is now crying I pull her to my chest.

"you don't need to be sorry, I should be sorry I jumped to conclusions, but you cant really blame me. From where I was standing it looked like you were enjoying it. I'm sorry babe." Santana tightens her arms around Emily to show Emily she was truly sorry.

Emily calms down after a while from her position in her girlfriends arms "san I would never cheat on you" she says.

" I know and I should have known that. Did you mean what you said earlier?"

"yeah, I don't know when it happened but I am in love with the most beautiful girl in the world" Emily smiles. Santana pulls her in for a kiss after saying" I love you too baby"
