The Birthday Surprise
Today the d.c. crews were at riptide beach celebrating the 18th birthday of Hi-Def's protégé. Everyone was having fun dancing, playing beach volleyball, swimming, and surfing on the ocean's waves. Right now little Yuri Shinto (glitch) was having a dance battle with Tina (little t) and was ahead by 2 stars. They did their finishing moves and were waiting for the results.
"And the winner is, Glitch!" everyone started cheering on the protégé while she did her encore.
"Hey ya'll it's time to sang happy birthday" Momo said helping her boyfriend Oblio bring out the cake.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Glitch, happy birthday to you" everyone sang as Glitch blew out the 18 candles that decorated the top of the cake.
Bodie (pov)
I watched as everyone surrounded my girlfriend given her the gifts they brought. I brought her one but I was too nervous to give it to her. Given her this gift would probably change our lives completely, but that was if I could give it to her.
I watched her open her last gift given to her by her mentor she was so excited that all of this was for her.
"Thank you guys so much, I'm so happy that you all did this for me" she said as she put her last gift on the table. Afterwards everyone went to continue partying. When I Knew she was alone I went to talk to her.
"Hey Yuri" I called to her as she was getting up.
Glitch (pov)
When I heard my name I knew it was Bo, because he was the only one who knew my real name. I turned around and saw him walking up to me.
"Hey Bo what's up" I asked casually.
"Nothin much jus' chillin, um can I show you sometin right quick" he asked me I could tell he was nervous about something.
"Sure, why not" I replied as I followed him to a beautiful little oasis on the other side of the beach.
When we got there I saw a candle lit picnic for two, it was so beautiful. I turned around to thank my boyfriend for this little romantic gesture, but when I turned around I saw Bodie kneeling on his knee in the sand. I was so shocked to see what was going on that I started to tear up.
"Yuri, ever since I met you I feel in love with you and that you are the only one for me" he started his speech as if it was rehearsed "will you do me the honor of making me the luckiest guy ever and marry me" as he said this he pulled a velvet box out of his pocket and opened it to reveal a gold ring with a beautiful emerald in the middle. I was so speechless that I just nodded my head and hugged him with all my might he slipped th ring on my finger an we spent the rest of the night at the oasis witch now held a special meaning in my life.
