Confused

A/N: Just some silly thing I wrote out. Sorry for all those that expected an update on my other stories. Meanwhile, enjoy this random headcanon I have.

Do you see that white orb in the night sky?

Yes, the Moon. On that moon lives a man who watches over the children of Earth, keeping them safe.

A man who does not understand the concept of infatuation.

Why would people make such a big deal out of this love?

Every night, when the Moon is out, Tsar Lunar watches over the world and its inhabitants. He sees families talking over a sumptuous dinner. He sees his Guardians on a busy night, and he sees the other spirits roaming about.

And sometimes he sees a happy couple or two.

Well, he knew about the love that comes from family – though he wishes he had more time to experience it himself – as well as the love that came from friends.

But the love that comes to a person's mind when they hear the word "love" – that was what he never comprehend; he never knew that love. Not in his entire strange life.

He's seen Jackson Overland give flowers to a girl that he really liked.

He's seen Bunnymund pine for his lost love when the Pooka thought no one was looking.

He's seen Sanderson dance with Mother Nature, their hearts as bright as the moonbeams he sent to Earth.

And yet he still doesn't understand.

Tsar Lunar feels like asking them how it feels like, but stops himself. He felt that if he asked, he would be intruding, and he wasn't even sure if Jackson wanted to answer him after 300 years of being ignored. (Such a dear boy; there was never a second of a day or night that Tsar Lunar did not regret his decision.)

So he kept his questions to himself.

Maybe someday, he hoped, he would understand.

But for now, the Man in the Moon isn't so sure.

Hope this makes up for my absence on the site.
