"You don't even like him!" The goth girl screamed, brows furrowed together and a deep frown resting on her face.

"Of course I don't, he's so not cool enough. But, I know you like him!" Paulina said with malice dripping in her voice. Paulina was used to getting what she wanted, though Danny Fenton wasn't actually on her list, he was on the list of a girl she despises.

"Then leave him alone!" Sam said her fists clenched together, turning her knuckles white. Before Paulina had a chance to respond, the boy of the girls' argument had arrived.

Instantly Paulina smiled her sweetest smile to him causing Danny to blush. "Hi Danny," Paulina smiled and inched closer to the blushing boy.

"Hi Paulina," Danny smiled, eyes half lidded. Sam could do nothing to get Danny to stop looking at Paulina, let alone stop talking to her. She was after all the most popular girl at Casper High, every guy dreams of dating her and every girl, with Sam as the exception, wanted to be her.

I can easily understand how you could easily take my man, but you don't know what he means to me.

"I was wondering, maybe sometime we can go get something to eat at the Nasty Burger together?" Paulina flipped her hair and her perfect teeth glimmered in the school lighting.

You can have your choice of men but I could never love again, he's the only one for me.

"Sure, I'll pick you up around seven, on Friday?" Danny said a sheepish grin on his face and barely keeping himself from drooling. Paulina smiled and with a look of practiced suave, she walked away with a little more bounce in her walk knowing Danny's eyes were on her.

It was a good five minutes after Paulina had walked away and Danny was still looking in the direction she had left them in with a look of puppy love on his features.

"Friday we are supposed to go see all three Cyber Zombies at the theaters!" Sam said trying to hide the fact tears were threatening to pour out. Danny jumped as he remembered the date they had already planned. He turned to face her with a look of slight anxiety, whether it was because he had made a date with another girl or because Sam was standing in the way of him dating Paulina.

Please don't take him even though you can.

"Sam, I totally forgot! But don't worry; we can go see it another time!" With that he waved goodbye and ran off to his next class leaving Sam alone in the hallway.
