The first time Neville Longobottom fell in love with Luna Lovegood, she was hanging upside down on a broomstick, her silvery hair streaming behind her. When he asked her why, she said it protected her from the wrackspurts. She was the first person to make him laugh that year.

The second time Neville Longbottom fell in love with Luna Lovegood, she was sitting in the branches of a tree, her feet dangling as she talked to the bowtruckles. Some pixies came and tugged at her hair, making her smile. He climbed up and for once, he didn't fall. Then he sat next to her and listened to her peculiar and funny stories until the sun fell behind the hills.

The third time Neville Longbottom fell in love with Luna Lovegood, she was trying to convince an owl to get to the ceiling. He saw her shoes dangling by their laces. It made him angry that anyone would do that to Luna. After helping her get them back, and probably breaking several minor bones in the process, he went up to the bullies who'd done it and jinxed them. It was the first time he'd successfully jinxed someone. He always did things right for Luna.

The fourth time Neville Longbottom fell in love with Luna Lovegood was in the summer, when she came to visit him by Floopowder. His aunt obviously disapproved of the queer girl with no shoes who he seemed to be friends with. But they had fun anyway, and it was the first time Neville saw his aunt's house and his family as "fun".

The fifth time Neville Longbottom fell in love with Luna Lovegood was the first time he realized it. He was always smiling and laughing around Luna. That morning she came and sat next to him at breakfast in the Great Hall, wearing some strange glasses. She said they let her see the nargles. Neville heard Hermione humph, but he was too busy laughing to notice.

The sixth time Neville Longbottom fell in love with Luna Lovegood was at Halloween, when she came in while carving a pumpkin. As she emptied it, she sprayed some of the orange pulp on Veronica Yang's silky black hair and her pastel blue dress. Veronica screamed in indignation, calling Luna names for ages, until she ran out of them. At the end, Luna looked at her sadly and said :"Oh dear. The nargles got her."

The seventh time Neville Longbottom fell in love with Luna Lovegood was at Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour's wedding. He'd decided to build up his courage and tell her, because the war might kill them both. The twins had decided to set off a few fireworks in the sky, but ended up with over a hundred, so the sky was emersed in sprinkles of colored gunpowder. Luna was standing in a yellow dress, looking up. "Luna?" he asked, walking towards her. She looked at him and smile. "Neville! Where were you? I looked for you inside but you weren't there!"

"I just arrived."

"Look at the fireworks! They're so pretty!"

He smiled as he looked up and saw a silvery-blue unicorn running across the night sky. "Luna, I wanted to tell you something, seeing as I might never see you again..." he swallowed. Luna looked at him curiously. "I think I might of... sort of fallen in love with you." he admitted, looking at his feet.

When he looked up again, Luna's smile had invaded her whole face.

She kissed him quickly, but then Kingsley's voice resounded from the tent, carrying a warning message. Luna hugged him one last time before running to where here father was calling her.

The end.

Believe it or not, this was written in between watching videos, while those annoying ads where raising havoc. I don't really like the ending, coz I can't imagine Luna being affectionate in a norma way, but anyway, please review! my nails are orange!
