Now for the announcement, I'm replacing old chapters with new ones. Ones that have better spelling and grammar. I will be doing this to all my stories, and I'm also deleting unnecessary things and chapters. I do hope that if new people read this story they will like it.
This was my first story in this site and I'm really glad that I was able to fix it somewhat. I know I still need help, but comparing it to my old version, I'm rather please by it! So, please enjoy it!
Summary: Tyson loves Kai, but how does Kai feel?

It was a warm day… scratch that it was hot, period. It was one of those day where all you want to do is stay inside the house with the air conditioner on, and do absolutely nothing! That would be a normal person idea, but for four teens this was not a normal day.
"Kai, can we please stop now!" A young teen with midnight blue hair complained.
"No." Came the blunt answer from a two-tone haired teen.
"Come on Kai, I hate to admit it, but I agree with him!" Said a black haired kid with cat-like features.
"Yeah, can we stop," said another one with blond hair and freckles, "I mean, it's really hot out here!"
The two-tone haired youth simply closed his eyes and lean on a nearby tree. "Could you stop whining already, it's getting on my nerves." He said as he crossed his arms.
"But Kai, we have been practicing for five hours, and I'm tired and hungry!" Tyson said as he sat on the ground, trying to prove his point.
"Fine you babies, we'll stop, I don't want to hear any more whining." Kai said as he glared at the bluenette in particular.
"Wait!" Yelled a girl with short brown hair.
"What is it Hilary?" Asked Tyson.
"Well, I was wondering," she turned to Kai, "why did you make Kenny practice with you guys?" She questioned him and they all turned to him for his answer.
"Payback." He responded and they all sweat dropped.
"Um, payback?" Ray asked, a little unsure if he wanted to know.
"Yes, payback." Kai said with a smirk on his handsome face, and a glint in his eyes.
"I'm afraid to ask, but what exactly happened?" Max asked, curiosity getting the better of him. They all waited for their captain to answered them.
"He messed with Dranzers' blade." He answered in an angry tone. Tyson, who was still seated on the ground, started to look nervous.
"Is that the only reason?" Ray asked him as he sat down on the ground too, weariness showing in his face.
"Hey, where is your blade?" asked Max, "now that I think about it, you haven't being practicing with us." The others agreeing with him. The dual-haired teen glared at nothing in particular and took out his beloved Dranzer.
"Whatever, here take a look." Kai showed them his blade and instead of Dranzers' blue blade, resting in his palm was a pink blade. Everyone, with the exception of Tyson, started to laugh. The bluenette's mind already coming up with plans to escape from there.
"That's hilarious!" Max said as tears started to fall from his eyes, he couldn't stop laughing.
"Hey, where is Kenny?" Questioned Hilary as she scanned the area for their short friend.
"He's still running laps." Answered Kai as he put away his blade, the others facepalmed.
"Kai don't you think you're been a little too hard on him?" Ray said, his laughing coming to a stop.
"Yeah, I mean Kenny isn't one for exercise, if you know what I mean." Stated Max and just as he was saying this, poor Kenny came walking towards them.
"Kai… I'm…done." He said between gasps of air, collapsing when he reach them.
"Oh my god Kenny! Are you alright?" Hilary asked as she went to help the genius up.
"I'm fine… just… tired… that's all." He answered her slowly trying to get his breath back.
"I guess you learned your lesson, am I right?" Kai said with a smirk on his face. The Chief turned to glance at him.
"What are you talking about?" Kenny asked him, slightly recover by now. Kai showed him the blade and the genius started to laugh. "Why is your blade pink?" He questioned him after he had his laughter under control. Kai glared hard at him.
"Don't play dumb with me, you know what I'm talking about, you did this to it!" He said as he put the blade in front of the shorter teen's face. Kenny moved the blade out of his face before responding.
"What! I certainly didn't do it!" Kenny defended himself.
"If it wasn't you, then who?" Suddenly, they all turned towards Tyson, who had been extremely quiet since the entire conversation had started.
"I can explain!" He quickly said when he noticed that Kai was walking towards him. They all knew he was in for it. Kai stopped in front of him, putting his hand on the bluenette's shoulder. The other four were waiting for him to yell at Tyson, but almost got a heart attack because of what he said instead.
"Don't do it again, ok." Their captain told him, and he turned away from the other teen and started to walk towards the dojo. Tyson eyes brighten and he smile wide, he hadn't been yell at!
Kenny was the first to come out of his shock state. "Hey no fair! I got to do laps, and all he gets is a warning?" He yelled at Kai's back as he disappeared inside the building.
"What just happened?" Asked a now recovered Ray. All turned to Tyson who was still smiling, a goofy expression on his face.
"How come I get laps and you only received a warning?" Kenny asked him as he grabbed the other teen and shook him, to say he wasn't pleased was an understatement. After all it was all Tyson's fault. In respond the navy-haired teen's smile just got wider.
"Is it not a great day today!" He said with eyes shining.
"Ok, what's wrong with him?" Max asked as he scooted away from his best friend.
"I don't know, but I do know one thing," all turn towards Ray, expecting his answer. "He has lost it." They all felled anime style.
"I'm going to get some lunch." Tyson began as he stood up from his place on the ground. "Do you guys want to join me?" He asked them, the smile still present, the others sweat dropped.
"No it's ok, you go right ahead, we'll catch up with you in a little while." Max told him, and with that said the midnight-haired boy skipped off humming a tune.
"There must be something wrong with him and Kai, don't you agree?" Stated Kenny.
"Yes, but the question is, what?" Max asked as they ponder the question.
"I got it!" Exclaimed Hilary with a victory sing.
"What did you get?" Ray asked her and the girl rolled her brown eyes.
"Oh, come on guys is so simple, even a five year old would get it." She said this with delight showing in her eyes.
"Hilary, what do you mean?" Kenny asked her and the girl sighed.
"Oh come on, don't tell me you guys don't understand?" They shook their heads, "well just think about it." After a while they gave up.
"Come on Hilary , what on earth are you talking about?" Ray asked her and she sighed.
"Oh, alright I'll tell you…" she shook her head, "no, I'll give you a hint." They all gave an exasperated sigh, but the happy brunet ignored it.
"It has something to do with Tyson and Kai." She said and the others rolled their eyes, of course this involved them!
"Just think about it," she sounded serious, "one, Kai hasn't been tough on Tyson lately. Two, he's more talkative, and right now, he didn't beat the crap out of him." She stated and her companions nodded. "Now Tyson, he isn't so loud, nor annoying lately. Two, he's eating less and he's more…" she paused, and seem to think about it. "Normal right?" She told them and they agreed with her.
"I still don't get it!" Poor Kenny was getting frustrated. Hilary shook her head.
"You guys are hopeless, haven't you notice the way they look at each other? How they seem to blush every time it happens?" They shook their heads, but the girl kept on talking. "How they seem to loose their voice every time the other speaks?"
"We're sorry Hilary, but we just don't get it." Max said.
"Just think about it, and really think about it." She said and gave them a look that seemed to say are-you-guys-stupid-or-what.
This time they did what they were told and realization hit them, when it did they could only say one thing.
"Oh."

I can't believe I only said that! Kai thought as he sat on his bed. Damn it, now they'll think I'm soft, but I couldn't help it! Tyson did look cute with his panicked expression. He mentally scowled himself. Why did it have to be him of all people? He put his head on his hands. Why not someone else? It's not my fault Tyson is cute, his eyes are just too innocent, his smile, that laugh of his, his soft hair...! Ok I need to stop thinking about him!
He stood up, opened the door, and headed down the hall to the kitchen. When he arrived there, he saw the last person he wanted to see at that moment. Don't get him wrong, if it had been any other day he would have not minded at all, hell, he would've loved it! But this was not one of those day.
(With the others)
"I have an idea." Hilary said and they turned to look at the only girl in their group.
"What?" Ray asked Hilary as she smiled wide.
"We'll help them!" She said and they all blinked.
"Say what?" All asked in union.
"We're going to help them get together, don't you agree they make a great couple!" She seemed to go in dream mode.
"Alright I'll help." Max smiled.
"If Maxi is helping, so am I." Declared a smirking Ray, all turned to Kenny.
"Sure, I always wonder if opposites do in fact attract." They all sweat dropped.
"Yes, now all we need are two more people." Hilary's smile got wider.

Something was wrong and Kai could sense it, it all starter when the others returned from outside, all wearing identical grins plaster on their faces. It was as if they were hiding, no, doing something, and this made him more self-conscious at every thing they did. Kai could also tell Tyson was aware of their mysterious ways, but didn't question them, yet.
"Hey, guys?" Tyson got their attention.
"Yes?" All answered at the same time, freaking Tyson and Kai even more.
"Um, is there something you're not telling us?" They tilted their heads a little.
"Why, of course not Ty, what gave you that idea?" Max asked with an innocent smile playing on his face.
"Are you accusing us of keeping secrets from you?" Hilary faked a hurt expression.
"Yes, Ty don't you trust us?" Ray said with eyes down.
"Of course not, we do trust you, a lot, we were just curious that's all!" He tried to defend himself.
"You know what they say Ty, 'Curiosity killed the cat.'" Kenny said and Tyson paled.
"'But satisfaction brought him back.'" This time it was Kai to step up and join the conversation. The others looked at each other, as if conversing between each other.
"Yes, well I need to make a call, I'll be right back." With that said, Hilary stood up and left the kitchen. A deadly silence fell upon the remaining occupants, two glaring at the others, and three refusing to look up. It was so silent they were able to catch some of Hilary's phone conversation.
"What the hell do you mean, you can't come!" She yelled, startling the others.
"I could care less about that!" There was a pause until Hilary's voice was heard again, "Kenny, come here!" The chief left, leaving four confuse boys. After awhile both come through the door with a victorious smile, Kai knew it wasn't one of being happy, but rather a mischievous one.
They're hiding something I can sense it, damn it I can see it, but the question is what? He mused to himself. Not knowing that a certain bluenette was thinking the same thing.

The whole day was uneventful after that and it was now seven-thirty. "Well, it's getting late time for me and Kenny to head home, isn't that right Chief?" Hilary stood up while saying it.
"Of course Hil." He said, and Ray and Max also stood up.
"We'll be going too." Ray said faking a yawn, Max doing the same.
"Um, Ray?" Tyson started, Ray turned to him raising a brow in question. "You and Maxi stay here, remember?" They felled anime style.
"Of course we know that! We were only playing with you guys, isn't that right Maxi?" He laughed a little.
"Sure, Ray whatever you said." Max smiled awkwardly.
"We decided to walk Hil and Kenny home today, right guys?" The golden-eye boy glanced at the others, who nodded and started walking towards the front door.
(With Tyson & Kai)
"They are acting weird aren't they?" Tyson look to where Kai was reading a book, seated on the couch.
"Yes, for once you're right," Tyson pouted, "I wonder what they're up to?" Both mused for a moment before giving up.
"We should watch them closely, don't you agree?" The bluenette asked his captain and secret crush. Kai nodded and both said goodnight and headed to bed, both having thoughts of the other.
(The others)
The others were walking to Hilary's house first. "So Hilary, how did the plan go?" Asked a smiling Max.
"At first they didn't wanted to come, but after I explain to them the plan to get Tyson and Kai together, and added some competition it was easy!" By now she was bouncing with happiness.
"What kind of competition exactly?" Ray asked looking at Kenny who was typing on his computer.
"I just said that they wouldn't be able to defeat Tyson and Kai in a beybattle, so they said that they would come tomorrow morning."
"Well, that's the first step to the plan, the next step won't be so easy." Kenny said and all agreed.
(Next morning)
All the occupants of the Kinomiya dojo were sleeping peacefully, that was until a loud knock woke them up. Two knew who it was, the other two were angry for being interrupted, and their dreams disturbed.
"Who the hell is it? It's Sunday for peek's sakes!" A very annoyed Hiwatari followed by a peeved Kinomiya opened the door.
"Hi Kai! I see you aren't fully awake just yet." A cheerful response greeted him, now Kai is a very easy going guy, and doesn't loose his cool just because he was waken in the middle of him confessing by a knock on the door. Yes, that's usually what would happen, but not today…
"Tala you bastard, what the hell are you doing here?!" Oh yes Kai was very mad.
