Eddie's POV
We… are dating, right?
It's time to say goodnight. I walk her to her room. As we stand in the hall together, I say goodnight, I look at her, and it's so tempting…. But she turns her head down,
Just to let me kiss her forehead.
As she turns and walks into her room, I'm stunned.
How come she's so afraid of falling in love?
We're together, but she just seems so scared of falling in deeper.
She likes watching scary movies.
She likes attention.
She's not afraid of running wild.
But she's so scared of love.
Maybe all her friends of told her don't get closer he'll just break your heart.
This house has some serious trust issues, clearly. And I'm new this year. But I sincerely don't want to break her heart. Do you think I like diving head first into something? I don't,
But it's worth it for her.
Cause every time I tell her how I feel, she's says it's not real.
I walk back down to my room for the night, mind still wandering.
What about all the things we said? Talking on the phone so late.
I can't let her get away from me.
We're talking about Patricia. She's not scared of anything.
Apparently, she's not scared of running through tunnels and playing deathly games,
But she's scared of having her heart broken.
She's not afraid of lots of attention.
She's not afraid of scary movies.
She's not afraid of running wild.
But she's so scared of having her heart broken.
I guess that means that I'm just going to have to prove myself.
To win her heart.
