I've had an obsession with poetry lately. Don't ask me why cause I can't write it in the first place.
This is another from Vincent's P.O.V. before the final battle.
The gate to tomorrow
Is not the light of heaven,
But the darkness of the depths
Of the earth.

Safe
No place is safe
No walls made of either brick
Or will
Provide safety
If someone gets inside those walls
It hurts even more
That is why you stay away from others
Not letting anyone close to you
I don't even know why I'm here
Right here, right now
Maybe to correct mistakes jotted in the Devil's Book
So long ago
But isn't there the risk of creating
Yet more sin?
I guess I will not know till I'm there
So as I now plunge into the darkness
Knowing what awaits me at the end
I know
No place is safe
