Chapter one: tragedy.
This is my version of the divergent series takes place at the end of divergent my thoughts on what happened at the end of the simulation and into insurgent.

Told from Tris' pov
As soon as I burst into the dauntless control room I saw my boyfriend standing at the controls and I knew he was under the simulation that caused everyone else in my faction to attack the abnegation (my old faction). I ran over to Four and shook him trying to snap him out of the simulation but he turned towards me and all I saw was madness which startled me. I backed away from him slowly and turned and ran back down the path leading back down towards the pit. I heard Four's footsteps close behind me and I ran faster. I saw some of my friends standing in the pit and I yelled thinking that they were still under the simulation. I pulled my gun out and kept it by my side.
As I reached the pit floor Christina grabbed me and moved in front of me and said "you're safe now." I breathed a sigh of relief but as I did I saw her raise her gun and point it at Four I screamed as she pulled the trigger and I saw him stop and the bullet hit him in the neck and he slowly crumpled to the ground. I ran to him not thinking that he could still try to kill me if he was under the simulation but I didn't care I had to get to him. I gently rolled him on to his back and saw that his hands were at his throat trying to stop the bleeding but blood seeped through his fingers and I screamed for someone to get a first aid kit and when no one did I got up to get one but Four wrapped his hand weakly around my ankle and I sat back down next to him.
Finally someone brought me a first aid kit and I grabbed a roll of gauze from it as well as several gauze pads and proceeded to wrap his neck careful not to wrap it too tight. As I looked at his face I was worried because he wasn't breathing right his breath was hitching in his throat and I held him closer to my body. I said "hang in there it'll be okay I promise Four." He shook his head and I started sobbing. He cupped my face with his hand and I held his hand and turned my head and kissed his blood soaked hand ignoring the salty metallic taste. Blood was starting to come from his mouth and nose and I tried wiping it away but to no avail there was just too much.
He mouthed I love you before the light fled from his eyes and he took one last shuddering breath. I screamed and blacked out.
