The galleon was just as merry and joyful as usual. Marvelous was throwing darts, Joe was doing sit-ups, Luka had her hands full of money and jewels, Don was in the kitchen cooking dinner, Ahim had her mind completely in the sentai encyclopedia that Gai wrote. Of course, Gai was running around the ship being enthusiastic as usual. Navi was asleep with the light in his body cut off. It was the night of the Gokaigers' departure from Earth. Even though they all say that they only came to Earth for treasure, and that they committed some actions because of the pirates' pride, the unspoken truth was in all of their hearts: They also saved Earth because they had a different kind of pirate pride, they are heroes who protect the helpless and heroes who have the heart to never give up.
The Gokaigers sailed on through space at full speed to the Zangyack home world to find the next biggest treasure in the universe. Suddenly, the ship stopped. It had bumped into something but it was peculiar because nothing had popped up on the scanner or radar.
"What? What? What?" Navi the bird shouted as he woke up startled.
"Tori1, shut up." Marvelous said in his usual relaxed, unbothered, pirate-like tone that showed he was excited for whatever was about to happen.
"I told you don't call me tori1!" Navi protested.
Don went to check the scanner, but it was true nothing was there.
"Guys, there's nothing there! Marvelous, you'd better go into the piloting room to check it out, we've bumped into absolutely nothing!" Don yelled.
"Sore wa doukana2?" said an unfamiliar voice.
"Who the hell are you, baka3?" Luka pouted.
"So you are the Gokaigers. We are the Zangyack's elite search and spy fleet. Of course, there are only thr-" The Zangyack alien said as he and the Gokaigers had already made their way onto the GokaiGalleon's dock when the Zangyack was cut off by an arrogant young man in the red pirate suit.
"We don't care who you are, we kick the ass of anyone who gets in our way!" Marvelous shouted back with his rude, rebellious attitude.
"Marvelous, we should at least listen to what he has to say if he knows something that we may want." Ahim reasoned.
"Hahaha, the young pink Gokaiger is a lot more wise than you, captain." The Zangyack mocked. "As I was saying, there are only three of these camouflaged elite ships, however, we are the deadliest of the Zangyack soldiers. I am Tenmakudasu, leader of this fleet. Now prepare to be destroyed or head back to Earth."
"Earth has already been protected by us. We have no intentions to turn back to it unless it is endangered again." Joe said coldly.
"Then be crushed!" Tenmakudasu roared as he and his elite dogoumin guards shot fireballs at them.
Through the explosions, the prideful roar of the gokaigers could still be heard.
"GOKAI CHANGE!" The crew shouted.
"GOKAIGER!"
When the smoke cleared, the six warriors announced with vanity filling their voices.
"GokaiRed." Marvelous said.
"GokaiBlue." Joe said.
"GokaiYellow!" Luka shouted.
"GokaiGreen!" Don said.
"GokaiPink!" Ahim said confidently.
"Goooookai...Silver!" Gai shouted enthusiastically.
"Kaizoku Sentai..." Marvelous announced.
"GOKAIGER!" The crew finished with their flag flying above them.
"Hade ni ikuze4!" Marvelous yelled as he shot down many minions and rushed into battle with the other five space pirates trying to uncover this newly found mystery.
